This guide will help you to finish the game.

Introduction

I decided to make one since there is no guide for this game yet. A guide isn’t needed to beat the game since secrets aren’t hidden, but it might help those who need it.

Note that this guide was made as I played the game, so some things might be different from your playthrough.

Tips

Here’s a general idea:

  • Save often. You’ll get a game over if you die.
  • You need to use items to beat some of the bosses.
  • HP and MP will be recovered after level up.
  • Ellemine’s Aura is a good and efficient way to heal some portion of your health.
  • There won’t be any healing crystals near the boss rooms on the second half of the game, so save often.
  • Grinding is not required to finish the game. You’ll cap your level naturally.

Party Members

I feel like it’s worth noting to explain all party members’ role in the party. It took me some time to figure out and I didn’t realize what the effective strategy was until I fought the strongest boss.

Klein

Role: all-rounder DPS
He has both INT and STR based attacks, separated into all types:
– Both single-target and AoE INT-based Ether types.
– Both single-target and AoE INT-based Tech types.
– Single-target STR-based Physical type.
Balance both of his INT and STR stats with stats more leaning on INT. Don’t forget to cast Boost on each boss fight to speed him up.

Zazir

Role: support, tank, back-up AoE DPS
– Inspire and Wisdom buff both STR and INT. He’ll be able to learn skills to cast both instantly at a later level.
– Ultra Hide and Protector make him a great tank.
– Echo does a good job to reflect most boss attacks, although it’s costly (it needs Chad’s support to cast it consistently)
– He has strong AoE Physical type skills.
His speed doesn’t let him be a decent attacker, but he has a higher normal attack than the other party members. Utilizing him as a support will be a better option due to Echo’s effect.

Chad

Role: semi-tank (early game), support, burst DPS
– Heroism helps a lot to tank your dying DPS early game.
– Charisma and its variant skills can help Klein, Zazir, Chad, and Sola to utilize their OP SP skills.
– Ether Fuse + and Tech Fuse + give a good attack alternative combined with Determination and Triple Attack (Legend’s Psi Sword is needed to unlock this skill).
– Zephyr Heart deals devastating, single-target damage.
Triple Attack gives him the most steady damage to enemies without any support. He’s better used as a support to fill the other party members’ SP on bosses while max-ing his SP at the same time to utilize Zephyr Heart.

Sola

Role: all rounder Tech DPS, support
– Hit Weapon and Hit Armor work well for bosses.
– She has various types of Tech attacks, both single-target and AoE.
– Extractor can help to remove boss’ buffs, especially Reflect.
Sola works well both as support and DPS. She can do a lot of things, and she’s fast enough if you use Agile Fighter on her. She needs SP to cast most of her amazing skills though and she’s mostly useless against Physical types due to her skill type.

Ellemine

Role: healer, reviver, cleanser, buffer
– She has the most healing skills in the game.
– Revive skills revives the party to full health.
– Aura helps to conserve MP for healing.
Conversion help in the early game, but not so much in the end game. She’ll mostly heal rather than attacking, especially since her attacking spells cost a lot of MP. Aura does a good job to heal the party from normal encounters.

Veronica

Role: all rounder Ether DPS, back-up healer
– Holy Sacrament does a good job to heal and buff a party member (Sacred Book is needed to use this skill).
– She has various types of Ether attacks, both single-target and AoE.
– MP drain spells for unlimited spell casting.
Although she can inflict status ailments on the enemies, she’s better off using her attack spells instead. Her spells cost a lot of MP, so she’ll most likely use drain MP spells in between attacks. Her Sacred Book is vital for the rest of the game to help heal the party. Heck, I don’t even use the ultimate weapon since it doesn’t give you healing spells.

Walkthrough

1. The Wedding Ceremony

Sector 4: Planet Erra

Star-Raider’s Hideout

Head north to activate a cutscene, then proceed to the west exit. Attempt to go to the north exit to get an achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Explorer Spotted!
Bryan clearly told you to get to the Warehouse!

Return to the previous screen and head to the north exit, initiating all battle tutorials until you activate a long cutscene. Feel free to use the First Aid Kit to recover after the battle if needed.

Rave Palace

The room to the right of the circle teleporter (Hanging Garden) in the north area can be used to heal your HP. Explore the area and head to the north exit once you’re done.

Follow the path until you reach a room with a big door. You can’t enter it yet, but you can enter the room to the southeast of you, the Prince’s room (you can talk to the guard to make sure you enter the right room). Talk to the Prince to get an achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Like family, huh?
Checked on the Prince at his room before getting Ellemine.

Exit the room and enter the High King’s room east of this room. Attempt to talk to the High King to get Rare Medicine and another achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Regal Meeting
Checked on the High King at the State Room before getting Ellemine.

Exit the room and enter the circle teleporter, to Palace Balcony. One of the chests contains Star Leaf, an item that we’ll use for another achievement. Exit the room and head all the way to the south, near the south exit. Talk to the guy that is protecting a chest and bribe him with the Star Leaf.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Grateful Botanist
Bribed the Palace Guard with a Star Leaf.

Proceed to the north exit to progress the story. Return to the previous screen for a cutscene and enter the Master’s bedroom (the big door that is guarded with 2 guards next to the dining room) afterward. Talk to the Queen to get an achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Maternal Love
Ellemine checked on the Queen at the Master’s bedroom.

Exit the room and head to the first area that you came from in this sector, triggering cutscenes along the way. Exit the building and talk to the man near the car, Bryan.

City-Lab

Enter the building and follow the red arrow until you reach a room with the purple-haired woman. Talk to her and head east after the cutscene for a battle.

Enemy: Training Bots
It’s weak to physical attack.

Another battle will commence after the cutscene finishes.

Enemies: 2x Wasps
You need to use your newly-learned Conversion skill to win this battle since your physical damage is very weak.

Feel free to inspect the green orb near the entrance of the room to recover your HP and MP after the battle. The next test will require you to interact with the white orb. Just keep on heading east until you find the "quest item". Return to the "white orb" (which has turned into a blue orb) once you’re done. Talk to the doctor again. Exit the building afterward and talk to Bryan to exit the area.

Grand Tower

Exit the toilet. Once you can move, kill all enemies that you can find. Save before heading to the next area.

After you can move, keep on going north until you reach the venue. Make sure to save after you reach the second toilet room though.

Enemies: 4x Soldiers
They are weak to Ether attacks.

Feel free to recover your party with the green orb if you want. Head to the teleporter to go to Emergency Docks.

Emergency Docks

Mutated Rat is weak to Ether.
AI is weak to physical attack.
Slime is weak to Tech.

Traverse the area to find a switch to open the area to the north. Head to the next room.

Enter Astral State and fetch 10 and 5 party exp on the northeast and southwest corner of the map. Continue heading to the next room afterward.

Proceed to the north path until you see a switch. Flick it to open the door near the entrance. Recover your party’s health and save. Head to the room with shuttles (car-like machine) when you’re ready.

Boss: 2x AI, 4x Mutated Rat, Slimelord
My party: Klein lv 3, Ellemine lv 2, Bryan lv 4, Lumina lv 3

Your party member might die from Slimelord’s attack on the first turn. Reset your game when that happens. Focus on eliminating all AIs and leave all Mutated Rats to sleep with Lumina’s Lull. Once you’re done, focus on eliminating Slimelord with either Tech or Ether attacks. Make sure to cast Lumina’s Inspire on the second turn. With Klein’s Boost, you’ll be able to deal a lot of damage. Kill the Mutated Rats swiftly once they are awake.

Sector 4: Planet Orion

Western Haven

Drone is weak to physical attack.
Mutant Plant is weak to Ether.
Wisp is weak to Tech.

Head to the next area. Enter Astral State to get 1 Str, 10 party exp, 1 Int, and 30 party exp throughout the map. Head to the east exit to reach a chest containing Damascus, a good weapon for Klein. Return to the previous area and head south.

Enter the building to reach a chest containing Psi-Circlet, a nice headgear for Klein and Ellemire. There’s nothing more to do here so proceed to the main path until you reach a house. You’ll get ambushed on this screen, so make sure to save 1 screen west from the area where you did Astral State.

After you can move, recover your party with the green orb, save, and exit the house for a battle. Head to the shuttle that is located in the area where you came to this planet for the first time. Make sure to save beforehand though since you’ll have another battle.

Boss: 3x Enforcer, Mecha
My party: Klein lv 4, Ellemine lv 4, Lumina lv 4

You might want to reset your game if Mecha uses Missile on the first turn. Assign Lumina to cast Lull on first turn and Klein to kill two of the Enforcers. Try to keep Reflect up at all times afterward and assign Ellemine on healing duty. Have Klein focus on the Mecha and use Boost whenever possible to make it faster. Make sure to have him Guard if he doesn’t have Reflect buff on when Mecha turn is up. Focus on healing Ellemine and Lumina first, and Klein for the last because he can always Guard to minimize the damage. Kill the last Enforcer after its Conversion effect is up.

2. The Kidnapping

Sector 1: The Cosmic Cube

Cafeteria

Head south until you reach a large hall. Talk to the girl running on the southeast corner, Brittany, several times until you get an achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Biggest Fan
Talked to Brittany until she becomes creepy.

There are several exits here. The upper west exit sell gears and items while the other exits have chests in them. Make sure to gear Chad properly. You also can buy some healing items if you want. Head to the lower west exit after you’re done and follow the path until you meet the King. Talk to the King and exit the room for a cutscene.

Sector 1: Planet Niredia

Underground Prison

DroneZ is weak to physical attack.
Draconian Thug is weak to Ether.
Dark Goo is weak to Tech.

Make sure to save often and don’t overuse your MP from now on. There aren’t many healing spots nearby. Utilize Milo’s Mass Hysteria and Chad’s Bodyslam whenever you can. Although there is a machine that sells recovery items near the northwest exit on the next 2 screens, they are quite expensive right now.

Head south, then west for a battle. The machine that I mentioned is located on the next screen. Head to the northwest exit to see a room with 2 levers. Pull the left lever to the left and the right lever to the right to unlock the room to the northeast in the previous area. Enter the newly opened room and follow the path until you reach a green orb. Save before entering the northeast door.

Boss: Wyrm
My party: Chad lv 6, Milo lv 6

You need some First Aid Kit and Ether Cubes. It took me 3 First Aid Kits and 2 Ether Cubes for this battle.

Assign Chad to defend all the time and Milo to spam Tetra while keeping Vanish at all times. You might need to get lucky so that the boss didn’t spam Fire Breath though.

Sector 2: Planet Jargon

Abandoned Facility

Mutation is weak to Ether.

Follow the path and enter the building. You’ll face a battle soon after. Head to the east exit to find a chest containing Storage Key. No, it’s not a key for the room where you fought the Mutation. Make sure to interact with all the purple arrows in this area. Sometimes they will give you some items. Just explore the whole area and kill any Mutations in your way.

There are two exits in the area with poor lighting: north and northeast. You can use the Storage Key to open the latter one. Enter the room to the northeast and interact with the scientist on the northwest corner to get a Keycard. Use it to the room where the Ellemine is.

There will be an item machine in the room where you find Ellemine. Buy some gears for your party members and stock up your supplies if you want. Enter Astral State on the next room with a green orb in it to get 2 Str, 100 party exp, 2 Int, 3 Agi throughout the map. Save before heading to the next room.

Boss: 3x Horde, Vomit
My party: Klein lv 7, Ellemine lv 6, Zazir lv 6

Everyone is weak to Ether. Focus on eliminating the Hordes first. Assign Ellemine to cast Aura and spam Aid to Zazir while he’s using Protector. Make sure Zazir defends at all times whenever Protector is on and the Hordes are alive. Klein can kill the enemies just fine with Boost on hand. Stop using Protector when Vomit is the only one left standing and switch Zazir on the attack after casting Inspire. It shouldn’t be as hard as the Wyrm battle.

Sector 2: Planet Warg

Granian Research Facility

Head north to trigger a cutscene.

Sector 3: Planet Kardel

Dorine Town

Psycho-Bot is weak to physical attack.
Farian Thug is weak to Ether.
Parasite is weak to Tech.

Gear up your party members. There are a green orb and a white orb to the north. Enter Astral State through the white orb to get 200 party exp, a code to the hidden chest if you peek on the southeast corner, 4 Agi, 4 Int, and 3 Str throughout the map. Well, what are you waiting for? Time to grab that hidden chest! It’s located in the buildings east of the building with a "club" sign (2 buildings east from green orb). Open the chest and input the password, BootyBeMine, to getNecro’s Beads

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Space Booty!
Opened a password protected chest.

Exit the house and head north a bit. You’ll see a wall with a lot of news on the wall and a building with a "DINER" sign (it’s the one with a pink neon sign). Enter the building and talk to the seller to get an achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Vegetarian’s Lament
Ellemine has sensed the pain of the animals.

The building west from the Diner has a chest containing Small Shield, a good shield for Zazir. Once you’re done exploring, head inside the hotel. It’s located near the green orb.

Sector 2: Planet Vergal

Dorado Colosseum

Gear yourself up in the shop below. There is a chest with 1000 AIONs in one of the areas, so you should be able to buy something if you’re short on cash. Talk to the guard to the north once you’re ready. The enemies aren’t difficult until the last round.

Boss: Tech Golem
My party: Chad lv 7, Sola lv 8

Assign Sola to cast Agile Fighter and Hit Armor (if possible) on her first turn. Spam Chad’s Backslash and Sola’s physical attack afterward. You might need to use healing items or save scumming to finish the fight without it.

Sector 3: Planet Kardel

Crasper City

Farian Robber is weak to Ether.

Exit the bar. There is a green orb in front of the building with the "MEDICAL" sign. Gear up in the store if you want. Your destination is in the building with the "GENERAL GOODS" sign on the southwest corner. Exit the bar.

Star-Raider’s Mothership

Psycho-Bot is weak to physical attacks.
Farian Thug is weak to Ether.
Parasite is weak to Tech.

Keep on heading east until you initiate a battle that gives you Raider’s Keycard. The chest in this room has Renzovough, a good weapon for Klein. The keycard opens the electrical barrier south from the previous area. Enter Astral State and go near the locked room nearby to find a note and a password, 3 Int, 500 party exp, 2 Str, 2 Agi, and 150 party exp throughout the map. Return to the previous area and enter both stairs in the middle, flicking both switches. The left stair requires a password that we found from the Astral State, Sharky123. It’ll open the door north from the previous area.

There is a chest containing Solar Shield here, a good shield for Zazir. A green orb is waiting in the next area. Yes, you guessed it. It’s a boss fight in the next room.

Enemies: 7x Farian Thug
My party: Klein lv 10, Ellemine lv 9, Zazir lv 9, Veronica lv 8

Blind and poison everyone with Veronica’s Toxic Curse and Blinding Hex, then kill them one by one. You’ll be healed after the battle.

Boss: Sharky, Robo Thug
My party: Klein lv 10, Ellemine lv 10, Zazir lv 10, Veronica lv 8

Assign Zazir to cast Protector and Ellemine on healing duty. Focus on eliminating Robo Thug first with Klein (and Zazir if possible) since it casts a nasty AoE attack. Klein’s Infusion should deal a lot of damage on it. Veronica can focus on attacking Sharky since she hardly can deal physical damage.

Crasper City

After the cutscene ends, head upstairs and talk to Veronica’s mother. Return downstairs to talk to Veronica to find someplace to sleep.

3. The Moldavite Stone

Sector 3: Planet Vismel

Vismel Wilds

Brain Machine is weak to physical attack.
Frizzlebite is weak to Ether.
Wandering Ghost is weak to Tech.

The easiest way to beat all enemies here is to let Sola defend until she can cast Roaming Bullets and deal with the leftovers. Chad can use Backslash for Brain Machine and Frizzlebite. Wandering Ghost is usually dies after a single Roaming Bullets, but if you don’t have enough SP to cast it, casting Hit Armor twice is also fine. Once Chad learns Heroism, he can cast it to prevent Sola from dying if her HP is low enough to get hit until she’s leveled up. Or you can use items to recover her HP.

Head north and open the chest to the left after the cutscene to get Hacker, a good weapon for Chad. The chest on the next screen contains Lancelot in it, a good weapon for Sola. Note that if you are wandering around the area, you’ll notice that there is a white orb, but you can’t use it right now. Keep on heading north until you reach an exit that is blocked by pentagrams. Open the chest on the bridge before you reach the exit has a chest containing Plasma Suit, a good armor for your party members.

Return to the previous area and head east until you reach a tablet. Interact with it and memorize the words. It’s the song you need to pass the exit that is blocked by pentagrams. Return to the pentagrams and recite the song. Solution: Feeble, Gold, Grandalle, Age and Cull. Proceed to the north for a cutscene.

To be honest, I don’t get the hint to pass this place at all. I just used brute force. Solution: east, east, west, north, south. Save when you reach a green orb and interact with the giant flower blocking your way for a battle.

Boss: Kill Bloom
My party: Chad lv 10, Sola lv 10

You need some First Aid Kits (and maybe First Aid Kit +) for this. It took me 6 First Aid Kits for this battle.

Assign Sola to cast Agile Fighter on the first turn. Chad can cast Determination after it takes damage from the boss. Make sure Sola keep Hit Weapon and Hit Armor debuff on the boss if possible. She also can do healing duty since Chad deals more damage with Backslash. Use Roaming Bullets whenever it’s available though. It deals huge damage.

Haden Village

There’s a shop here to gear up and stock up your supplies. Enter the dojo, the house near the green orb, and speak to the man with the green hat in the middle of the room to participate in the battle.

Boss: Kunian Rifleman, Kunian Warrior
My party: Chad lv 11, Sola lv 12

You need some First Aid Kits for this. It took me 11 First Aid Kits and 1 Emergency Kit for this battle.

Prioritize the Rifleman first. Assign Sola to cast Agile Fighter and Vanish on the first turn. Chad can cast Determination after it takes damage from the boss and cast Heroism when Sola is low on HP. Make sure Sola keep Hit Weapon and Hit Armor debuff on one of the bosses if possible. She also can do healing duty since Chad deals more damage with Backslash. Use Roaming Bullets whenever it’s available though. It deals huge damage.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Dojo Master!
Defeated the Dojo warriors in Haden.

Exit the dojo and enter the house in the southwest corner. Exit the village through the east exit to reach a cave.

If you have trouble navigating this area, note that all of the exits in the first area lead to the same area. You’ll reach an exit with a pentagram if you keep on following the west path from the entrance. The clue is available if you keep on following the east path from the entrance. Head to the pentagram when you have interacted with the clue and recite the song. Solution: Watchin’ puddles in the rain., There’s no better place to lay., And she’s as fine as dandelions., blowing in the wind.. Use the green orb to recover your party and save before opening the door.

Boss: 3x Grief, Lost Soul
My party: Chad lv 15, Sola lv 15

You need some First Aid Kits for this. It took me 2 First Aid Kits for this battle.

Assign Sola to cast Agile Fighter on the first turn. Chad can cast Determination after it takes damage from the boss. Your job is to make Sola keep on using Roaming Bullets. This means that you can let Chad spam Charisma and Sola to defend whenever her EP is less than 25. 3 Roaming Bullets are enough to take care of them (2 for the Griefs).

Sector 3: Planet Kardel

Crasper City

SWAT is weak to Ether.

Save before heading downstairs.

Boss: 6x SWAT, SWAT Commander
My party: Klein lv 11, Ellemine lv 11, Zazir lv 11, Veronica lv 9

Assign Zazir to cast Protector and Ellemine on healing duty. Reset the game if he dies on the first turn. Assign Veronica to blind and then poison the enemies while Klein attack the SWATs with Throw after boosting himself with Speed. Zazir’s Shockwave can also deal huge damage to the SWATs.

Exit the house. Follow the path until you reach the sewers.

Crasper Sewers

Ward is weak to physical attack.
Rare Mutation is weak to Ether.
Wraith is weak to Tech.

The chest that you can see in the first area can be reached from the next area. It contains Gulanian Shield, a good shield for Zazir. Head upstairs from the Farian Teen on the area north of this chest and interact with the book. Veronica will receive some exp and stat gains. Return to the previous area. There is a shop on the east exit. Gear up and continue traversing the area once you’re done. There is a chest containing Celestial Bracelet in the intersection and a switch on the other side. Flip the switch and return to the area with the Farian Teen. The north path should be opened up.

Traverse through the area and flip 2 switches on the east side of the map to open a door on the west side. There will be a green orb in the next room. Save as always before proceeding.

Boss: 3x Banshee, Angry Angler
My party: Klein lv 13, Ellemine lv 13, Zazir lv 13, Veronica lv 12

Assign Zazir to cast Protector and Ellemine on healing duty. Stop all Banshees with Klein’s Grip and use his remaining EP to spam Throw on Angry Angler. Veronica can spam Tetra on the boss. Angry Angler damage will give 20+ SP to Zazir, so he can spam Shockwave every turn. You might want to give Ellemine’s Shield buff on him though since the boss tends to outdps Ellemine’s heal (even with Aid +). The Banshees should die after three Shockwaves.

Exit the Sewers.

Crasper City

Brawler is weak to Ether, but you can only do physical attack anyway.

Attempt to go to the bar on the northeast corner of the city. Head to the second floor of the apartment building afterward. Enter her room.

4. The Reunion

Sector 2: Planet Warg

Granian Research Facility

Give the Moldavite Stones to the guard (just interact with the electric fence to do it) and enter the building. Head to the main lab to see a cutscene. Return to the area where you meet Prince Eryn and talk to the Gulanian that is standing there. There’s a logbook in Librarium. Follow the red mark to reach it. Check the list of the recent registrations before registering and choose Eryn Rave. Feel free to register yourself afterward. Save and return to the main lab.

Boss: 4x Galactic Trooper, Eryn, Heron
My party: Klein lv 14, Ellemine lv 14, Zazir lv 14, Veronica lv 14

Assign Zazir to cast Protector and Ellemine on healing duty (give Shield to Zazir beforehand). Prioritize killing the Galactic Trooper first, then Eryn. Zazir’s Shockwave should help in eliminating the Galactic Troopers. If Eryn cast Refraction, don’t cast any magic (this means that Veronica doesn’t need to do anything).

Follow Veronica to the shuttle.

Sector 1: Greldian Asteroid

Unknown

Lost Drone is weak to physical attack.
Genos is weak to Ether.
Flime is weak to Tech.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Galaxy Rangers, Unite!
Has gathered all available party members.

You’ll find a chest containing Greldian Axe, a good weapon for Zazir, and Moonstone Wand, a good weapon for Ellemine, and Sprint Boots, a nice accessory, in some of the chests on the next screen. The next screen is a huge area, but it’s quite straightforward. The path will split into west, north, and east. The east path leads to a locked exit, while the west and north will eventually lead to the same path, giving access to both the west and northwest exit. Head to the west exit first to reach a white orb. Use it for a cutscene and an achievement.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Meeting the Unknown
Accidentally got acquainted with a mysterious astral entity.

Return to the previous area and head to the northwest exit to find a switch. It’ll unlock the exit on the east path in the previous area. Head to the newly unlocked area. Go to Astral State and take 2000 party exp, 5 Int, 5 Str, 5 Agi throughout the map. Recover your party members, save, and proceed to the next screen.

Boss: 3x Greldian AI, Heron (Boosted)
My party: Klein lv 18, Zazir lv 18, Chad lv 18, Sola lv 18, Ellemine lv 18, Veronica lv 18

As usual, prioritize killing the Greldian AIs first. Assign Zazir to cast Protector and Ellemine on healing duty (give Shield to Zazir beforehand). Zazir’s Shockwave and Sola’s Roaming Bullet can help in eliminating the Greldian AIs. Veronica can focus on damaging Heron from the first turn since her Hexa is good against him.

Sector 4: Planet Erra

Rave Palace

Upgrade your gear from the machine. Head to the next screen and enter the second room that you encounter. Talk to the scientist to get Erran Keycard. The keycard will open the next room in this area, but before heading inside, head to the south exit first to reach a chest containing Gothic Choker. It’s a good accessory for your int-based characters. There’s another locked area in the next room, but you can’t unlock it yet. Save before going to the west exit.

Return to the previous area and enter the room to the north. Go through every exit in this room to save the children. Be careful though, they are tough. Two of the chests in the rooms contain Magnet Bracers, a good accessory for your int-based character, and Emerald Sword, a good sword for Chad. Save before entering the north room.

Boss: 4x Galactic Enforcer, 3x Priest, Reverend Sergio
My party: Klein lv 20, Chad lv 20 (+ Zazir lv 20, Sola lv 20, Ellemine lv 20, Veronica lv 20)

You’ll need First Aid Kit + and/or Medical Treatments in this fight. I used 3 First Aid Kit +.

As Klein said earlier, there’s no way you’re winning this fight. Just keep on defending. Reset the game if Sergio poisons your party. Assign Chad to cast Heroism and Determination (if you have enough SP) and Klein to cast Speed. Once Klein SP reaches 30, use Invasion to one of the Priests. Same with Chad and his One Liner skill that costs 20 SP. Make sure to defend before Priests and Galactic Enforcers have their turn though. The rest of your party will come after ~2 turns, healing all of your party members’ HP.

Once you have a full party, do the usual trick: Zazir with Protection and Ellemine on healing duty. Strangely, Ellemine didn’t have a turn at the first 1-2 turns, so you might want to use Medical Treatments to heal your party (or risk having Zazir dies and assign Ellemine to revive him once she got her turn). Assign Sola to cast Hit Weapon and Hit Armor to Sergio once Sergio’s alone. The fight should end at the turn when Ellemine got her turn.

Talk to your mom, then go to bed.

5. The Rebellion

– Lady Tajuma

ATLAS

You can talk to your party members to know more about them. Klein will wake up once you talked to everyone. The shops will be open afterward. Gear up and head to Main Deck when you’re ready. Speak with the scientist north of Ellemine to go to Vismel.

Sector 4: Planet Vismel

Vismel Wilds

Brain Machine is weak to physical attack.
Frizzlebite is weak to Ether.
Wandering Ghost is weak to Tech.
Galactic Enforcer is weak to Ether.
Priest is weak to Ether.

Head west on the next screen after you fight the Enforcers to find a white orb. Do an Astral State to find Golden Lamp, 1000 party exp, 2 Agi, and 3 Str throughout the map. You can use the Golden Lamp to fight a boss in ATLAS (the ship) right now, but let’s leave it for later. Proceed to Haden Village, eliminating all Enforcers along the way.

Haden Village

Head north to reach a forest-like area.

Sacred Temple

Enigma is weak to Tech.
Trapped Soul is weak to Tech.
Impetus is weak to Tech.
Umi is weak to Tech.

There is a chest containing Tech Rifle, a good weapon for Sola, here. Head to the next area. There will be an intersection here. Head west and save before interacting with the spirit.

Boss: 3x Impetus, 2x Umi, Ancestral Princess
My party: Klein lv 23, Zazir lv 23, Chad lv 23, Sola lv 23, Ellemine lv 23, Veronica lv 22

Prioritize killing Impetus and Umis. The boss used an AoE attack in my first turn, so I could freely kill them with Roamin Bullet. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Zazir to cast Protector, and Ellemine on healing duty. Kill the boss with your strongest skill afterward.

Return to the previous area and head east. The chest contains Refined Plate, a nice armor. Save before interacting with the spirit.

Boss: 3x Impetus, 2x Umi, Ancestral Warrior
My party: Klein lv 24, Zazir lv 24, Chad lv 23, Sola lv 23, Ellemine lv 23, Veronica lv 23

Prioritize killing Impetus and Umis. The boss doesn’t seem to deal enough damage with its AoE attack to let Sola use Roaming Bullet, so cast Agile Fighter instead and wait until she can cast it. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Zazir to cast Protector, and Ellemine on healing duty. Be mindful of your HP and keep on eliminating the enemies one by one.

Return to the previous area. There will be two more intersections to the north. The west exit has a poem inscription while the east exit has a green flame where you have to recite the poem. Head to both intersections and interact with the flame. Solution: Healing through words, The golden ceiling, Songs on the wind, So close yet so far.

Return to the previous area and head north. There is a chest containing Uqtan Axe, a good weapon for Zazir. Save before heading north.

Boss: 4x Elite Scout, 3x Elite Soldier, Centaurius 8E65
My party: Klein lv 26, Zazir lv 26, Chad lv 26, Sola lv 26, Ellemine lv 26, Veronica lv 25

Prioritize killing everyone except Centaurius 8E65 as always. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Zazir to cast Protector, and Ellemine on healing duty. The boss’ Crimson Collapse can deal huge damage, so make sure to assign Zazir on defense. The rest should die easily with Veronica’s Octa, Sola’s Roaming Bullets, and Klein’s Burst. Keep Hit Weapon and Hit Armor buff up at all times after the boss is alone. Although the boss damage is high, keep in mind that your SP will also regain faster, allowing you to use a stronger attack.

If you enter the temple, there will be a chest containing Spring Boots on the next screen. Return to Haden Village.

Haden Village

Enter the house to the west (Gregory’s house), and open the chest to get Tech Shield (you can reach it from the northwest corner). Exit the house and talk to the girl that is pointed by a yellow arrow for a side quest. Head to the east exit, to the cave.

Your destination is in the middle north exit on the second screen. Open the red chest to get Wooden Carved Piece and a boss fight.

Boss: Cave Nymph
My party: Klein lv 28, Zazir lv 27, Chad lv 28, Sola lv 27, Ellemine lv 27, Veronica lv 27

The boss is weak to Tech. Your main focus should be making sure Sola can cast Assault Fire as soon as she can. It’ll reduce the boss HP a lot, especially when you combo it with Hit Armor and Inspire. The boss also has nasty AoE attacks though, so beware. Quickly kill the boss afterward with your strongest attack.

Return to the quest giver for your reward. There’s nothing more you can do here, so head back to ATLAS through the shuttle you used to come to this planet.

– Lord Percivus

ATLAS

Remember the place where Klein was resting? Go there. You can use the teleporter to go to Corridor to make it faster. Interact with the wardrobe.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Fashionista
Discovered the ATLAS Wardrobe.

Upgrade your gears. Head to the south exit from Arsenal to reach a training room-like area. Save and head to the east area. Scan your Golden Lamp Artifact to fight it.

Boss: 3x Trapped Soul, Spirit of Mischief
My party: Klein lv 29, Zazir lv 28, Chad lv 29, Sola lv 28, Ellemine lv 28, Veronica lv 28

Assign Chad to cast Heroism and Ellemine on healing duty (cast Shield on Zazir on the first turn). The Trapped Souls should be heavily weakened by Veronica’s Octa so you just need to clean up the rest afterward. Sola and Chad can take a quick work of them with their normal attack. The boss is weak to Tech and doesn’t deal much damage, so assign Zazir to cast both Inspire and Wisdom while waiting for the others to get ready for their attack (especially Sola’s Assault Fire). I used Chad’s Charisma to make it faster.

Return to the Main Deck and talk to the Erran Scientist to go to Planet Erra.

Sector 4: Planet Erra

Larza City

Talk to Lord Percivus to unlock the north exit. Although it doesn’t look like it, you actually can walk to the east corridor on the next screen to reach the chest. Follow the path and initiate all battles on the way. Save at the green orb and proceed when you’re ready.

Boss: 4x SWAT Enforcer, 2x Wrecker Unit, Reverend Sergio (Boosted)
My party: Klein lv 30, Zazir lv 30, Chad lv 30, Sola lv 30, Ellemine lv 30, Veronica lv 30

Save Sergio for the last as always. He’ll poison your party on the first turn so if Zazir gets it, know that it can cast Adaptation to cleanse it without wasting its turn. Klein’s Rampage and Veronica’s Octa should eliminate the SWAT Enforcers. If either Zazir or Chad got enough SP for their AoE attack, use it to eliminate the Wrecker Unit. Sergio should be down quickly with all those AoE attacks. Zazir can go on support with Inspire and Wisdom.

– Judicator Valinne

ATLAS

There’s nothing new to do here except for talking with new people, your party members, and open the newly unlocked scenario in your room (the room where Klein was sleeping). Head to the Main Deck and talk to the Erran Scientist once you’re ready. Make sure you save beforehand.

Sector 1: The Cosmic Cube

Cosmic Cube Docking Bay

Head to the southeast corner of the room and interact with the blue tube. It’ll change to a chair. Interact with it to reach the prison room.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough

Cosmic Cube Prison

Goliath 2A is weak to physical attack.
Wasp Lord is weak to Ether.
Unidentified Goo is weak to Tech.

This area is a bit of a maze, but the Judicator is on the northeast corner of the map. The exit is on the northwest corner of the map, but locked. There is a chest on the southwest corner of the map containing Dark Half and another one on the southeast corner of the map containing Book of Shadows, a good weapon for Veronica. Follow the path to the north from this chest to reach another chest containing Light Half. Keep on going to the west until you reach a door. There is a chest west of this area containing Pearl Earrings, a nice headgear. Save and enter the room.

The officers that you battle will drop Operator’s Remote. If you still don’t realize it already, it’s our ticket to release the Judicator. Head to the northeast corner of the map and release her. Make sure you save beforehand.

Boss: Chimerous S-174
My party: Klein lv 34, Zazir lv 34, Chad lv 34, Sola lv 34, Ellemine lv 34, Veronica lv 34

The boss is weak with Ether attacks. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Zazir to cast Protection, and Ellemine on healing duty. The rest should try attacking the boss with their highest damage.

6. The Rescue

ATLAS

Head to the Main Deck and talk to the Erran Scientist.

Sector 3: Planet Karde

Kor’s Facility

Golem Cyborg is weak to physical attack.
Failed Experiment is weak to Ether.
Santelmo is weak to Tech.
Mad Scientist is weak to Ether.

Make a separate save before you head inside the building. There is a chest to the west containing Titanium Edge, a good weapon for Klein. Head to the room to the north and pull the lever to the right. Exit the room and head east until you reach a room. There’s another lever inside. Pull it to the left. It’ll unlock the room east of this room. Save before entering the room.

You should get Office Key after the battle. Head upstairs and keep on heading west until you see a white orb. Do an Astral State. Pick up 5000 party exp, Orb of Tarlos, 2 Str, 4 Int, 3 Agi and 3 Str. There is a chest to the north containing Celerity Shoes. As for the Office Key, it’ll unlock the room west of here. You’ll get some items, including Kor’s Keycard during the cutscene. It’ll open the room east of here. Before you go there though, head north first. There’s a chest containing Pearl Earrings

Explore the area, beating all enemies on your way. There’s a chest containing Crystal Shield on the southeast corner. Another chest containing Pearl Earrings is guarded by the enemies in the center room. Save before entering the next area. The fight isn’t hard but there’s another one… and you won’t be healed after the first fight.

Boss: Artemisia 888E
My party: Klein lv 39, Zazir lv 38, Chad lv 38, Sola lv 38, Ellemine lv 38, Veronica lv 38

(putting a spoiler tag for this since I don’t want to spoil you with the consecutive battles)

The boss is weak with Tech attacks. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Zazir to cast Protection, and Ellemine on healing duty. For this battle, I just focused on getting Klein’s SP to 80 so he can cast Strength and Infusion +. Sola’s Hit Armor and Hit Weapon and Zazir’s Inspire definitely help. You have to make sure that Klein is not getting status ailments though. The boss should go down with 1 Assault Fire (or any high damaging physical attack) afterward.

7. Side Quests

ATLAS

Nice, now we can travel freely to anywhere else. We should do the side quests before continuing our journey. But before that, let’s battle our new Artifact. Head to Arsenal and proceed to the south exit.

Boss: 4x Essence, Soul of Tarlos
My party: Klein lv 41, Zazir lv 41, Chad lv 41, Sola lv 41, Ellemine lv 41, Veronica lv 41

Assign Chad to cast Heroism and Ellemine on healing duty. Chad can also use Tech Fuse to help to kill the Essences. Your main focus should be getting Sola to use her Assault Rifle to eliminate the Essences. Veronica’s Icosa can reduce their HP some more. The others should be able to clean them up afterward. The boss will revive the Essences if their number is less than 2, so just focus on the boss after you reach that amount and only kill the Essences if you need some healing; Chad can always cast his AoE attack to deal damage for the essences. However, if Ellemine isn’t busy, feel free to Convert the Essences.

If you care about items, head to one of the rooms in Corridor. Gwen, Chad’s little sister will give you an item. Solielle, Klein’s mom, will also give you an item. She’s in the War Room. It’s located in the teleporter next to Ellemine. Once you’re done, it’s side quests time. First stop: Sector 4, Psi-Academy.

– Sector 4

Sector 4: Psi-Academy

Head inside the building. Follow the east path until you reach a library. Talk to the quest giver. Return to the building entrance and follow the west path this time. Head inside the room in the northwest corner for a cutscene. Talk to the mom to get a side quest. Give her the money. Return to the shuttle and head to Erra’s City-Lab in Sector 4.

Sector 4: Planet Erra

City-Lab

Follow the path until you reach the room with the purple doctor, Doctor Skylark. Head to the northeast exit in the intersection to reach it. Initiate the cutscene with the doctor. Your next destination for this quest is in Planet Orion’s Eastern Haven, but let’s save it for later. Head to Rave Palace for now.

Rave Palace

Open the chest to get Legend’s Psi Sword. It’s a sword for Chad. There are some new chests inside the palace. The most important one is the one inside the Master’s bedroom, the one with a big door. The chest contains Goddess’ Amethyst, a good weapon for Ellemine. There’s nothing more to do here so let’s travel to Sector 3, to Yurielle.

Sector 3: Planet Yurielle

Opalius Village

The store here sells some good gear, so gear up if you want. You won’t have enough money to buy them all though, so just buy some armor. Head to the mayor’s house to the north when you’re ready. Talk to her twice to get your first side quest. The flowers are in Planet Orion’s Eastern Haven.

Sector 4: Planet Orion

Eastern Haven

Drone is weak to physical attack.
Mutant Plant is weak to Ether.
Wisp is weak to Tech.

Just keep on heading south until you find a maid. Ask her where to find Valeflowers and she’ll ask you to go to the Western Haven. Head to the east until you find the quest giver and her child. Talk to her. Another Artifact! Let’s save it for later. Head to the Western Haven to finish your other quest.

Western Haven

Drone is weak to physical attack.
Mutant Plant is weak to Ether.
Wisp is weak to Tech.

Head south until you reach a bunker. Open the chest to get Bundle of Valeflowers

Remember the Clairvoyant’s house? Head inside the house (just follow the west path to reach it) and talk to her. You’ll get Bryan’s Sword. Return to Opalius Village in Planet Yurielle, Sector 3.

– Sector 3

Sector 3: Planet Yurielle

Opalius Village

Head to the mayor’s house to report your quest and talk to her again to take the second one. Visit Planet Kardel in Sector 3, but go to Crasper City first.

Sector 3: Planet Kardel

Crasper City

Head to the house above General Goods and open the chest to get Emerald Blade. Go to the northwesternmost corner of the map and talk to the girl to get a side quest. If you never sell any item drops like me, you should have enough items for this quest. If you don’t, don’t worry, we can collect it later. There’s nothing more to do here (except for opening the chest in Tessa, Veronica’s friend, house), so move to Dorine Town.

Dorine Town

Head north 1 screen. The guy for your Opalius Village’s side quest is to the east. Head inside the Hotel and go to one of the rooms. There should be a chef named Kevin there. Buy 2x Kevin’s Pizza for a side quest later. Feel free to buy other items if you’re interested. Head to Star-Raider’s Mothership. If you’re wondering, there’s nothing new in Kor’s Facility. Not even a chest.

Star-Raider’s Mothership

Psycho-Bot is weak to physical attacks.
Farian Thug is weak to Ether.
Parasite is weak to Tech.

Head to the boss room to get a side quest.

Sector 3: Planet Yurielle

Opalius Village

You know the drill. Report the quest and take a new one. Head to Haden Village in Planet Vismel.

Sector 3: Planet Vismel

Haden Village

Head near to Grumpy Gregory house (northwest corner of the village) to find a Kunian Teen that gives you a side quest outside of it. Go to Ghost Town of Grava through the shuttle.

Ghost Town of Grava

Follow the path, heading north in the intersection. Enter the mansion. Feel free to explore and read the notes. There’s a white orb on the next screen. Go to Astral State. Explore the area to see a ghost running away. Chase it until you reach the basement in the first area of this mansion. You need to interact with it in the second room.

Exit the mansion (still in Astral State) and head 1 screen south. Head to the southwest corner of the map, then head upstairs to find a child. Talk to him. Your next destination is to the south exit. There’s another ghost in front of the house. Talk to it and head to the area where you came here for the first time. Head south, to the beach-like area, to find a chest containing Wooden Carved Piece. Return all the way to the mansion to exit the Astral State, dodging the ghosts along the way. Return to Haden Village.

Haden Village

Talk to the quest giver to get your reward.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Spooked, yet?
Finished the Ghost Town of Grava quest.

Now, head to Sacred Temple. You can either go on foot or use the shuttle.

Sacred Temple

Enter the temple to find a chest containing Sanctified Seal, another Artifact. It’s time to explore Sector 2. Go to Heart of Vergal in Planet Vergal.

– Sector 2

Sector 2: Planet Vergal

Heart of Vergal

Cybernetic Lava Brain is weak to physical attack.
Vergalian Beast is weak to Ether.
Flame Elemental is weak to Tech.

If you haven’t finished the side quest in Crasper City where you had to 8x Fiery Substances, this is where you can farm it.

Follow the path to the east to find Milo. Enter the building and talk to Dart. The path to the west side is still blocked until you finished your current quest, so let’s move to Planet Jargon. First stop: Abandoned Facility.

Sector 2: Planet Jargon

Abandoned Facility

Mutation is weak to Ether.

There are 3 enemies here: one in front of the facility and two at the far end of each intersection. The battle in the west path will drop Cosmic Rifle, a great weapon for Sola. Now, go to Jargonian Wasteland.

Jargonian Wasteland

Golem Cyborg is weak to physical attack.
Failed Experiment is weak to Ether.
Santelmo is weak to Tech.

Note that you also can get Fiery Substances from the monsters in this area.

Explore the area. Avoid the white-hooded creature to the northwest for now. The enemies are very strong at your current level. There is a chest containing Celerity Shoes to the north. The boss is on the northeast corner. In case you’re wondering, there is a rock blocking your way if you enter it from the south side, so you have to go around and enter from the west side instead.

Boss: Mammoth Abomination
My party: Klein lv 46, Zazir lv 46, Chad lv 46, Sola lv 46, Ellemine lv 46, Veronica lv 46

The boss is weak to Ether attacks. Assign Chad to cast Heroism and Ellemine on healing duty. Your main damage dealer is Veronica with Icosa, Klein with Rampage, and Chad with Ether Fuse+Triple Attack. Assign Sola to cast Extractor (Gamma) when the boss is buffing itself. If Ellemine got stopped, assign Zazir to cast Ultra Hide and Protector. That should be enough to keep the boss’s damage.

To be honest, even after defeating the boss, the white-hooded creature to the northwest is still too strong for you, so let’s leave it for now and head back to Heart of Vergal in Sector 2.

Sector 2: Planet Vergal

Heart of Vergal

Cybernetic Lava Brain is weak to physical attack.
Vergalian Beast is weak to Ether.
Flame Elemental is weak to Tech.

Report to Dart. You are allowed to head inside the Heart of Vergal now. That means the northwest exit. The boss is to the north. Feel free to go around from the west or east side to reach it.

Boss: 3x Flame Elemental, Vergalian Beast, Infernal Ravager
My party: Klein lv 49, Zazir lv 49, Chad lv 49, Sola lv 49, Ellemine lv 49, Veronica lv 49

The boss is weak to Ether attacks. Assign Chad to cast Heroism and Ellemine on healing duty. Klein and Veronica can clean up the non-boss with 2x Rampage and Seal of Rhiannon+Icosa. Just assign your other party members to clean up the leftovers. Stack up damage buffs and hit the boss with your strongest attack. The boss might remove your buffs and deal huge damage, but it won’t do that often. If you’re having trouble I suggest equipping Ellemine with 2 Celerity Shoes so that she can heal faster.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Dart’s Trusty
Finished the Mercenery quest with Milo.

The quest gives some a good weapon for Zazir. Head to Dorado Colosseum on the same planet.

Dorado Colosseum

Talk to Dorado in the center of the area. He’ll let you enter the colosseum again. Head to the north exit and talk to the guard to initiate the battle. It’s 5 consecutive battles. Don’t be afraid to use your MP – you’ll level up after most battles. The enemies aren’t difficult until the last one.

Boss: Dark Wyrm
My party: Klein lv 53, Zazir lv 53, Chad lv 53, Sola lv 53, Ellemine lv 53, Veronica lv 53

The boss is weak to Ether attacks so cast Ether Gears and Ether Fuse for Klein, Chad, and Sola before attacking (you need to equip EXO Plate to cast Ether Gears). Assign Chad to cast Heroism and Ellemine on healing duty. Zazir can help the other attackers by casting Inspire and Wisdom.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Last Team Standing!
Won as a 6 man team at Dorado’s Colosseum.

Before exploring other places in Sector 2, let’s head to Sector 1 first, to Tarkalia Village in Aldebaran, to be exact.

– Sector 1, Planet Aldebaran

Sector 1: Planet Aldebaran

Tarkalia Village

Head inside the inn to fetch for a side quest and to the mayor’s house for another. Go to the Chapel at the southeast corner of the village afterward to find a chest containing Sacred Book, a good weapon for Veronica. Talk to Father Valermo. Head to Desert Dunes to continue with the side quest.

Desert Dunes

Lost Tech Brain is weak to physical attack.
Desert Lurker is weak to Ether.
Crimson Scorpion is weak to Ether.
Soul Pot is weak to Tech.

Make sure to collect at least 5 Strange Fossils for a quest.

Desert Dunes is… well, a desert. Just keep on heading north until you reach a village. Speak with the elder and go to your next destination, Akasha Ruins. Yes, head all the way south to your shuttle first.

Akasha Ruins

Lost Tech Brain is weak to physical attack.
Desert Lurker is weak to Ether.
Crimson Scorpion is weak to Ether.
Soul Pot is weak to Tech.

You can go to Astral State from the white orb to the west. Roam around to find 2000 party exp, 1 Str, 2 Int, 4 Int, 2000 party exp, 3 Agi, Akasha Relic (an Artifact), 2 Agi, and 3 Str. Note that there is a merchant that sells some accessories in the southwest area. I recommend buying one Cyber Boots for Ellemine. Head to the south exit. Talk to Ser Herdinon and go to Oasis of Dreams, still on the same planet.

Oasis of Dreams

Talk to Ser Herdinon. Before you interact with the object in the northwest area, explore the area for a bit to find a chest containing Looking Glass, an artifact. Head to the northwest area and interact with the object.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
An Ethereal Shelter
Helped the Farseen find their new home.

Before returning to Tarkalian Village, let’s finish another side quest for now. Head to Dorine Town in Planet Kardel, Sector 3.

Sector 3: Planet Kardel

Dorine Town

Head to the house behind the Hotel. Return to Tarkalia Village in Planet Aldebaran, Sector 1.

Sector 1: Planet Aldebaran

Tarkalia Village

Report to Father Valermo in the Chapel. We’re done in Planet Aldebaran, so let’s visit Psi-Academy in Sector 4 for now. We have an unfinished side quest.

Sector 4: Psi-Academy

Follow the path to the east to reach the library. Report the quest. It’s time to explore Planet Ishtar in Sector 1. Go to Halder City.

– Sector 1, Planet Ishtar

Sector 1: Planet Ishtar

Halder City

Talk to Paul near the shuttle. Before you talk to the police officer, head to the southeast area until you see some shops. Enter the building with a burger sign on it. Talk to the quest giver. If you followed the guide, you should have the pizza already but if you’re not, just head to one of the hotel rooms in Dorine Town in Planet Kardel, Sector 3 to buy it. Exit the shop and talk to the police officer for your other side quest.

Raptor is weak to physical attack.
Goliath G8-15 is weak to physical attack.
Mecha Raider is weak to physical attack.

Goliath G8-15 deals huge damage, so you might want to prioritize defeating it first.

The random encounters are replaced by touch-encounters, so feel free to avoid the enemies if you want. Your task here is to find all students hidden in the school. There is one in the cafeteria, two in the classrooms to the west, one in the men’s bathroom, and one in the gym. The chest in the westernmost classroom also contains Darkbreak Shield, a nice shield for Zazir. Once you saved all of the students, head to the easternmost room in the east area from the entrance.

Boss: 4x Raptor, Fire Pulse Golem
My party: Klein lv 60, Zazir lv 60, Chad lv 60, Sola lv 60, Ellemine lv 60, Veronica lv 60

Focus on eliminating the Raptors first as always. Assign Ellemine on healing duty while Zazir supports with Inspire. The others can attack as they want. The boss shouldn’t be hard at your current level.

Head to the hospital. It’s on the northeast exit.

Go to the room to the west of you to reach a chest containing Operating Room Key. This key will unlock the room to the east of the entrance. Save before heading to the boss.

Boss: Vivace
My party: Klein lv 62, Zazir lv 62, Chad lv 62, Sola lv 62, Ellemine lv 62, Veronica lv 62

It’s weak to physical attacks. Use Sola’s Extractor (Gamma) when the boss is buffing itself. Assign Ellemine on healing duty while Zazir supports with Inspire. The others can attack as they want. The boss might remove your debuffs and stop your party members, but it doesn’t deal much damage in the first place so just keep on attacking

Go to Abandoned Factory in Ishtar.

Abandoned Factory

Raptor is weak to physical attack.
Goliath G8-15 is weak to physical attack.
Mecha Raider is weak to physical attack.

Head north, then west to reach a white orb. Go to Astral State to get 7 Int, 3 Str, 8 Agi, 5000 party exp, Miniature Maiden (an Artifact), 4 Str, and 5000 party exp. There is a Mecha Raider to the north and a chest containing Starlight Earrings to the northeast. Defeat it to get Father’s Tools. Follow the path to the east to find a scientist. He’ll drop Archlight Facility I.D. after you defeat him. Yes, it’s our next destination for this quest. But before you get there, head to Opalius Village in Planet Yurielle, Sector 3 first.

Sector 3: Planet Yurielle

Opalius Village

Feel free to buy more gears if you want. I recommend buying the 2 Crest of the Warriors for Zazir, Chad, and Sola, 2 Crest of the Wizards for Veronica, 1 of each crest for Klein, and 1 Crest of the Wizards for Ellemine. Report to the mayor and take your next quest. Mr. Nigel’s house is in the southeast corner of the village, the one with a circle window. Talk to him and exit the house. Now, go to the northwest corner of the village and enter the house west to the children running around in circles. Your next destination is to Oasis of Dreams in Planet Aldebaran, Sector 1.

Sector 1: Planet Aldebaran

Oasis of Dreams

Talk to Titania in the northeast area. Return to Opalius Village.

Sector 3: Planet Yurielle

Opalius Village

Report to the mayor and take on your last quest. You’re below the recommended level for this, so let’s leave this one for now and finish the other side quest. Go to Archlight Facility in Planet Ishtar, Sector 1.

Sector 1: Planet Ishtar

Archlight Facility

Enter the facility and talk to the man in charge. Return to Halder City.

Halder City

Raptor is weak to physical attack.
Goliath G8-15 is weak to physical attack.
Mecha Raider is weak to physical attack.

Head to the south exit. Keep on heading south until you see a boss, denoted by a white arrow. Save and talk to it.

Boss: 4x Raptor, Mecha Lancer
My party: Klein lv 64, Zazir lv 64, Chad lv 64, Sola lv 64, Ellemine lv 64, Veronica lv 64

Focus on eliminating the Raptors first. The boss isn’t that hard to beat. Just keep on spamming the boss with your strongest attack. Chad’s Triple Attack (you need to equip Legend’s Psi Sword to use the skill) is a good choice for this job. Make sure to assign Zazir to cast Inspire to increase his damage.

Return to the area where your shuttle was and report to the police officer.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Halder’s Saviour
Saved Halder City from the A.I invasion!

That’s everything that you need to explore, except for one side quest in Vismel. Feel free to explore the rest of Sector 2 if you want. There’s Wargian Wasteland in Planet Warg and Cyber Lord’s Lair in Vergal, but both don’t have anything special except for chests (which doesn’t have any useful drop either). Plus, you’re going to Wargian Wasteland later for the main quest. Once you’re done with everything, go to ATLAS for now. We have some bosses to fight.

– Artifacts

ATLAS

Head to Arsenal’s south exit. Fight all Artifacts you have in your inventory.

Boss: 2x Loyal Vassals, Soul of Marallia
My party: Klein lv 70, Zazir lv 70, Chad lv 70, Sola lv 70, Ellemine lv 70, Veronica lv 70

All enemies are weak to Tech. Focus on eliminating the Loyal Vassals first. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Zazir to cast Inspire+ and Wisdom+, and Ellemine on healing duty. Sola’s Roaming Bullets+ will deal huge damage, so prioritize on using that.

Boss: 2x Ghoul, Linch Prince
My party: Klein lv 71, Zazir lv 71, Chad lv 71, Sola lv 71, Ellemine lv 71, Veronica lv 71

All enemies are weak to Tech. Focus on eliminating the Ghouls first. Assign Chad to cast Heroism, Ellemine to spam Relieve+, and Veronica on healing duty to Ellemine (you can get heal spell by equipping Sacred Book). The boss will cast a spell to half your HP and MP on the first turn. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire+, Ultra Hide, and Protector on the first turn to minimize the damage while the others with healing skills (Chad and Veronica) heals. Sola’s Roaming Bullet+ will kill the Ghouls quickly, so make sure to use it. Chad’s Triple Attack with Tech Fuse+ will also deal decent damage to it.

Boss: Avarice, Desire, Discontentment, Insatiability, Rage, Ego
My party: Klein lv 72, Zazir lv 72, Chad lv 72, Sola lv 72, Ellemine lv 72, Veronica lv 72

The enemies will mostly die with 2 of Sola’s Roaming Bullets+. They don’t have any weakness and resistance, so feel free to attack as you wish. Assign Ellemine and Veronica on healing duty and the others to attack.

Boss: Soul of Azura
My party: Klein lv 73, Zazir lv 73, Chad lv 73, Sola lv 73, Ellemine lv 73, Veronica lv 73

The boss is weak to Tech. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire+ and both Ellemine and Veronica on healing duty. The others can attack the boss as always. The boss will often give you status ailments, so it’ll be easier if you equip status resistance armors. Don’t bother casting Tech Gears or debuffing the boss since it’ll most likely be cured when the boss’ turn comes up. I just relied on Chad’s Determination + Tech Fuse + + Triple Attack combo and Sola’s Assault Fire for this fight.

Boss: 2x Elite Vanguard Soul, Soul of Duke Alacrane
My party: Klein lv 75, Zazir lv 75, Chad lv 75, Sola lv 75, Ellemine lv 75, Veronica lv 75

The enemies are weak to Tech. Equip Sapphire Earrings to Ellemine. The boss will mostly wipe your party members with its HP+MP debuff + AoE skill combo. Revive everyone afterward and Sola should have her Roaming Bullets + ready for the Elite Vanguard Souls. Clean them up with Roaming Bullets. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire+ and both Ellemine and Veronica on healing duty. Again, don’t bother casting Tech Gears. The boss loves to remove it. Just let yourselves get hit and attack them with your SP attacks such as Assault Fire (or Rapid Barrage) and Prism Beam. Chad can do his usual Determination + Tech Fuse + + Triple Attack combo.

Time to finish our last side quest. Head to Vismel Wilds in Planet Vismel, Sector 3.

– Cleanup

Sector 3: Planet Vismel

Vismel Wilds

Follow the east path until you reach the stone inscription. Save before you reach this screen.

Boss: Lanz Raigan
My party: Klein lv 77, Zazir lv 77, Chad lv 77, Sola lv 77, Ellemine lv 77, Veronica lv 77

Alright, forget about using your MP. The boss will straight rob you of your MP (and keep on doing it). He’s weak to Ether, so just use your Ether Gears if you still have enough MP to cast it. Focus on gathering enough SP to cast Rapid Barrage and Strength+Infusion +. Assign Zazir to cast Protector and Echo whenever possible. Veronica is on healing duty this time, casting Tantalize + whenever her MP is close to 20.

Return to Opalius Village in Planet Yurielle, Sector 3.

Sector 3: Planet Yurielle

Opalius Village

Report to the mayor.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Hero of Opalius
Finished all of the Inquiries available at Opalius Village.

The quest reward is a great accessory for Klein. There’s nothing more you can do here, so let’s tackle the main quest. Head to Cosmic Cube in Sector 1.

8. The Cosmic Cube

Sector 1: The Cosmic Cube

Goliath 2A is weak to physical attack.
Wasp Lord is weak to Ether.
Unidentified Goo is weak to Tech.

Mirror Drone is weak to physical attack.
Special Agent is weak to Ether.

Sneak into the prison again. If you forgot where it is, interact with the chair on the southeast corner.

I’m not sure whether I missed this in the previous run or not, but there’s a chest containing Baby Blue Dress on the northeast area. Head to the exit in the northwest corner of the map. Head to the east exit this time and go to the northeast corner of the map to reach a chest containing Cube Key. This can unlock the locked doors in the previous area.

Pull both switches on the left room to the left and the switches on the right room to the right. The hint to unlock this was on the southeast corner of the east exit. This will open the lock near the northwest exit. Save before entering it since you’ll have a battle. Head to the teleporter.

Your task here is to light the lamp to the north to correspond with the tile surrounding it (green). Solution: green, green, green. The next room is an obstacle course. Don’t get hit by the light and the robot. Save often. Another obstacle course in the next room leading to switches. Solution: West side: pull left switch to the left, right switch to the right. East side: pull both switches to the right.

If you’re having a hard time dodging the robots, then don’t dodge the laser. Getting hit by a laser will reduce your HP, but touching the robots will teleport you back to the room with lamps. It’s not worth getting teleported to the entrance over and over again – just focus on dodging the robots and take as many hits from the laser as you want. You can always heal yourself later.

The next area is an annoying area where you have random encounters with the obstacle course. Head to the southwest corner of the map to reach a lever. Pull it. Now, head to the northeast corner to find a teleporter. Save before using it.

Boss: Mirror Drone, 3x Special Agent, Eryn (Boosted)
My party: Klein lv 82, Zazir lv 82, Chad lv 82, Sola lv 82, Ellemine lv 82, Veronica lv 82

You know the drill. Eliminate the minions first. Feel free to assign Chad to use Ether Fuse +. DO NOT attack with Veronica. The boss casts reflect on the first turn. This also includes any other magic. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire + on the first turn, Ellemine to spam Relieve +, and Veronica on healing duty. If Zazir has more than 50 SP, cast Echo. The boss tends to use Ether attacks.

Boss: Eryn (Overloaded)
My party: Klein lv 83, Zazir lv 83, Chad lv 83, Sola lv 83, Ellemine lv 83, Veronica lv 83

Not gonna spoil you about what happened, hence the spoiler tag.

The boss is still weak to Ether attacks. It will deal huge damage on the first turn, so hopefully, no one dies from it. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire +, Ultra Hide, and Protector on first turn and Ellemine on healing duty (cast Gift ++ on the first turn). If Zazir has more than 50 SP, cast Echo. The boss tends to use Ether attacks. Cast Sola
s Extractor (Gamma) and Extractor (Beta) when the boss buff himself. The fight will end after you deplete 1/3 of his HP.

ATLAS

Head to Wargian Wasteland in Planet Warg, Sector 2.

Sector 2: Planet Warg

Wargian Wasteland

Raptor is weak to physical attack.
Goliath G8-15 is weak to physical attack.

Head to the northwest corner of the map. Interact with the boulder. Save before entering it. Once you’re inside, interact with the wormhole.

Boss: Lost Chimerous
My party: Klein lv 83, Zazir lv 83, Chad lv 83, Sola lv 83, Ellemine lv 83, Veronica lv 83

To be honest, this feels more like a miniboss. Just keep on attacking it with Ether attacks and you’ll kill it in no time.

Sector 1: Planet Niredia

Wasteland

Gargoyle is weak to Ether.
Darkspore is weak to Ether.
Lava Goo is weak to Tech.

Draconian Guard is weak to Ether.
Draconian Elite is weak to Ether.

Head to the northwest exit first. Enter Astral State to get 7 Str, 4 Agi, Tyrant’s Heart (an Artifact), 3500 party exp, and 6 Int (on the northeast corner – it’s kinda hidden). Return to the previous intersection and head to the northeast exit. Follow the northeast path to reach a chest containing Molten Shield. Follow the other path until you reach a base. There’ll be a fight, but the enemies aren’t that strong. The path inside the base is very straightforward. Just keep on following the path and fight all battles until you reach a level. Pull the lever and defeat the enemies on the other side to get Niredian Security Key. It’s used to unlock the door near the entrance.

Interact with the orb-like thingy to the north. Now, stick to the edge of the room to find other rooms in it. Deactivate all transmitters that you see. The exit to the northeast should be unlocked right after. Follow the path until you reach another room. Destroy the Energy Fuse. Save before going to the south exit.

Boss: Mirror Drone, 3x Draconian Elite, Count Vorakia
My party: Klein lv 86, Zazir lv 86, Chad lv 86, Sola lv 86, Ellemine lv 86, Veronica lv 86

DO NOT use any magic attacks. The boss casts reflect in the first turn. Assign both Ellemine and Veronica on healing duty until the reflect effect wears off. Zazir needs to act as a tank due to the boss’ damage. Cast Inspire+, Ultra Hide, and Protector. Sola’s Roaming Bullets + can help to finish the non-boss. Once the boss is alone, assign Sola to cast both Extractor (Beta) and Extractor (Gamma). The boss might cleanse Zazir’s Ultra Hide and Protector. If that happens, make sure to cast it again.

10. Side Quests (2) – Planet X

ATLAS

Gear up your party. I recommend keeping Veronica’s Sacred Book. To be honest, I just changed Zazir’s weapon and buy some EP regen armor as a substitute for normal encounters. Once you’re done, go to Arsenal’s south exit. We have an Artifact to beat.

Boss: 3x Granian Telepath, Ragnar Quasag
My party: Klein lv 88, Zazir lv 88, Chad lv 88, Sola lv 88, Ellemine lv 88, Veronica lv 88

The boss is weak to Ether, but the minions are weak to Tech. Watch out for Granian Telepath’s reflection. Assign both Ellemine on healing duty and Zazir to cast Inspire + and Wisdom. Sola’s Roaming Bullets + can help to finish the minions. Once the boss is alone, focus on defeating the boss. Klein’s Throw ++ and Veronica’s Arcane Finale + with Wisdom and Seal of Rhiannon buff should finish the boss quickly.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
The Collector
Has collected all artifacts and defeated all of the artifact boss battles.

Exit the room to see Gregory giving a side quest. Once you accept it, go to Granian Research Facility in Planet Warg, Sector 2.

Sector 2: Planet Warg

Granian Research Facility

Enter the building and head to the big door to the north. Talk to the Gulanian and head to Crasper City. It’s in Kardel, Sector 3.

Sector 3: Planet Kardel

Crasper City

Farian Robber is weak to Ether.

Enter the Apartment and head to the upper floor. The guy that sells the drugs is in the southwest room. Go to Star-Raider’s Mothership, still on the same planet.

Star-Raider’s Mothership

Psycho-Bot is weak to physical attacks.
Farian Thug is weak to Ether.
Parasite is weak to Tech.

Dirge is on the second screen. He’s sitting on the sofa near the right stairs. Buy the drug from him and return to Granian Research Facility.

Sector 2: Planet Warg

Granian Research Facility

Talk to the Gulanian behind the big door again to get Black Ether. Return to ATLAS.

ATLAS

Teleport to Arsenal and give Gregory his item. We can travel to Planet X now. Go to that planet. It’s in Sector 2.

Sector 2: Planet X

The Fallen is weak to Ether.
Shadow Spider is weak to Ether.
Living Acid is weak to Tech.

Your goal here is to touch all Dark Matters in this area. There are 3 of them. Just head west and stick on the edge of the map to reach all of them. The exit is to the northeast corner. There is a witch to the east before the exit though. Talk to her and save before heading to the exit.

Boss: 2x Malicious Being, Fiend of the Unknown Abyss
My party: Klein lv 91, Zazir lv 91, Chad lv 91, Sola lv 91, Ellemine lv 91, Veronica lv 91

The minions are weak to Tech although the boss doesn’t have any weakness. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire +, Wisdom +, Ultra Hide, and Protector – the boss hits hard. Ellemine can stay on healing duty. If the boss cast a mind-control debuff on Zazir, assign Ellemine to cleanse it and Veronica to heal him on that turn. Cast Echo whenever Zazir’s SP reaches 50+. The boss might kill your party members, but you can always revive them. If Klein, Chad, or Sola dies, their SP should be filled to 100, which also means that you can cast their high damaging skill. The boss should die easily with that. Feel free to cast Sola’s Plasma Barrier too if you want

Open all chests to get Book of the Ancients, Celestial Gunblade, Crimson Destroyer, Sword of Crimson Fire, Enigmatic Crystal, and Heavenly Slasher. It’s your party’s ultimate weapon. Equip it except for Book of the Ancients. You need Veronica’s heal. Interact with the crystal.

Boss: 3x High Priest, 2x Abyssal Spirit, Lord of the Unknown
My party: Klein lv 93, Zazir lv 93, Chad lv 93, Sola lv 93, Ellemine lv 93, Veronica lv 93

My setup:
Klein: Heavenly Slasher, Sapphire Earrings, Erran Plate, Crest of the Wizard, Crest of the Hero
Zazir: Crimson Destroyer, Molten Shield, Starlight Earrings, Ishtarian Plate, Crest of the Warrior, Crest of the Warrior
Chad: Sword of Crimson Fire, Starlight Earrings, Ishtarian Plate, Crest of the Warrior, Crest of the Warrior
Sola: Celestial Gunblade, Starlight Earrings, EXO Plate, Crest of the Warrior, Crest of the Warrior
Ellemine: Enigmatic Crystal, Sapphire Earrings, Jumpy Robe, Crest of the Wizard, Cyber Boots
Veronica: Sacred Book, Sapphire Earrings, Jumpy Robe, Crest of the Wizard, Crest of the Wizard

High Priests are weak to Ether, Abyssal Spirits are weak to Tech. The boss doesn’t have any weaknesses. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire +, Ultra Hide, and Wisdom. Ellemine can stay on healing duty while Veronica acts as a back-up healer. Your party members might die on the first turn.

The proper strategy is to keep Zazir’s Echo at all times with Chad’s Charisma ++ (and other variations of it). This will also fill Klein, Chad, and Sola’s SP, which also means that they can use their AoE skills. Assign Klein to cast Prism Beam and Sola to cast Roaming Bullets + to kill the Abyssal Spirits quickly. Klein can cast Colossal Gravity to kill the High Priests afterward. Once the Abyssal Spirit dies, focus on using Chad’s Zephyr Heart and Sola’s Rapid Barrage to the boss (still with Charisma strategy).

As for Veronica, she needs to cast Mass Hysteria on the enemies to prevent your party members to get too much damage. Luckily, the boss is also vulnerable to this. Don’t bother to cleanse anyone who got the status effect – your hands are full already.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
A Superior Battle
Defeated the Lord of the Unknown.

Time to finish the game. Go to Planet Niredia in Sector 1.

11. The Attack

Sector 1: Planet Niredia

Niredia War Zone

Crimson Elite is weak to Ether.
Draconian Soldier is weak to Ether.
Elite Wyrm is weak to Ether.

You’ll fight a battle after the cutscene. Just follow the path and kill all enemies along the way. 2x Colossal Gravity should be able to finish everything.

Boss: 2x Mirror Drone, 2x Elite Wyrm, Count Vorakia (Boosted)
My party: Klein lv 99, Zazir lv 98, Chad lv 98, Sola lv 98, Ellemine lv 98, Veronica lv 98

Mirror Drones will cast reflect on the first turn, so refrain from using any spells. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire +, Wisdom +, and Protector. Assign Sola to cast Extractor (Omega) once the Mirror Drones die. Once the Elite Wyrms die, cast Extractor (Gamma). Just keep on spamming Ether attacks and you should finish the battle in no time. Put Ellemine on healing duty as always. This boss is way easier than Lord of the Unknown so you should have no problem with it.

Save before heading north.

Boss: Count Vorakia (Overcharged)
My party: Klein lv 99, Zazir lv 99, Chad lv 99, Sola lv 99, Ellemine lv 99, Veronica lv 99

Again, do not cast any spells until Sola cast Extractor (Beta) to remove the reflect. Assign Zazir to cast Inspire + and Wisdom and put Ellemine on healing duty. The boss doesn’t seem to have any weaknesses, so just hit it with whatever you got. A few 100 SP skills will just kill it easily.

Rave Heart - Walkthrough
Tyrant’s Downfall

Congrats on beating the game! Enjoy the cutscene!

Afterword

I didn’t know that it’ll be this long. I tried to make a detailed guide before, but I realized that it’s useless since the game already gives an arrow mark for anything that you can interact with (plus, I’m lazy). I ended up editing the guide and mentioned only the important items in the game, mostly key items and gears.

I didn’t realize most of the party strategy (especially Chad’s role) before the end game, so some of the strategy might be ineffective. I wanted to retry the boss fights, but again, there are so many of them in this game and I might have not saved before all of them so I had to re-explore the whole map again… so I decided not to. I made an extra Party Member section for that though, so hopefully, that can work as a replacement.

Lastly, I hope that I didn’t mistake east and west in the guide. I tried to fix the mistakes that I noticed, but as I said before, the guide is very long. My laziness got to me. I might recheck it later, whenever I’m in the mood for it. Feel free to let me know if there are any mistakes in the guide though – I’ll be happy to correct them.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the game!
