How to play

Go to the main menu and select Remix. Enable Jolly Co-op. Next, select Story or Expedition mode. A new button will appear to allow you to select players.

FAQ

• Only one copy of the game is required.
• Mods are not required
• Steam remote play and parsec are two options to play online.
• Limit of 4 players
• For now, you can only play the base campaigns (surv,monk and hunter), but you can choose any other player (e.g. survivor world but artificer or saint).
• There are many secrets!

 

How to play online

Jolly Coop mode can only be used locally. Steam Remote Play allows you to play with your friends online.

Steam Remote

Instantly share your Steam multi-player Steam games with friends online, for free.

Remote Play Together allows one player to own and run the game. Then up to four players (or more with faster connections) can join the fun. More information

How to play the new Slugcats. (MSC).

There are three options available:

• You can play on Monk, Survivor, or Hunter campaign with MSC slugcats.
• Play Jolly+Expedition but all story elements will be disabled
• (Not recommended) Allow the cheat to play the MSC campaign with Jolly

 

Playing as a Monk, Survivor, or Hunter campaign

This is the default option. You can choose MSC characters once you have unlocked them in Jolly. You can play in Hunter’s World, but all players play Saint. You can also play in Monk’s world. Player 1 is Artificer, and Player 2 is Survivor. There are many combinations!

Jolly Co-op & Expedition

You can also play co-op with Expedition’s slugcats and even MSC. You can play in their worlds. The story elements will, however be disabled!

Use the cheat

Expect crashes! This mode is not recommended and it is not finished. However, if you want a taste you can place a .txt file called `garrito_feature.txt` inside the `Rain World\RainWorld_Data\StreamingAssets`. This will unlock Jolly Co-op for all campaigns.
