Why my engine slow?

1 Engine can work only for 100 tiles (foundation), if your base is longer then 1o0 tiles you will need to build 2 engines, if your base pass 700 tiles you will need to build 8 engines to be able the engines to start moving.

Check how to find the dimensions of your home/base image example

Here you can see 2 red lines, start to number the tiles from each red line and multiple them

Example:

Left Red Line: 20

Button Red Line: 20

20 x 20 = 400

So I have a range from 350/450 tiles (try to add + 50 tiles extra each time just in case if you need to add more soon)

 

Hope this guide helps you how to fix the issue with slow engines in Raft, if you have a huge base and you need a lot of engines and expect you gonna need a lot of Wood or BioFuel to keep them running …

And make sure each time you stop, you turn off the engines, so they will not use extra fuel.
