This is a general strategy guide which will help you beat chapter one and the other chapters as well probably.

Introduction

Okay, so as of the time I am writing this, chapter 1 is the only chapter that has been released.

However, a lot of the strats that I’ll be discussing in this guide will very likely be relevant to the remaining chapters, so I feel as though this guide will be a good resource for the remaining chapters that will be released in the coming weeks – even if there are new mechanics introduced.

Chapter 1 Title Screen (and the rest of the cutscenes)

This is the first, and arguably the easiest section of the game. This is the first instance of a "cutscene" and there a couple of ways to interact with them, depending on the type of player you are.

If you are a part of the more casual crowd, you will be happy to know that you will not have to do ANYTHING to complete these sections, other than simply waiting for them to finish. This applies to ALL cutscenes, although they will be varying lengths (There is one at the end of the chapter which is more than 4 MINUTES. Yikes!)

On the bottom left-hand side of the screen, there is a menu. This will be your main tool for completing the chapter – although there are alternatives that I will be getting to later. You have your standard main menu and save buttons (the save button is not useable in cutscenes for some reason), but there is an exclusive one for cutscenes which I will simply be calling the "pause button" for the sake of this guide (it’s the one with the two lines BTW).

By pressing the pause button, you can make the cutscene stop. This can be useful when you need to urgently do something, such as when you get the urge to poop. You will notice that the button will change to a sideways triangle and, while it may seem overwhelming, it just means that you can make the cutscene do the opposite of being stopped by clicking on it a second time. In other words, it becomes a "play button."

Also, another button will appear on the bottom right-hand side of the screen (it will look like two play buttons side by side). Clicking this will give you the option to skip the cutscene ENTIRELY. This could be a good speedrunning strat.

Either wait until the cutscene is done or skip it. No matter which of these you decide to do, you will complete this section. Yay!

The General Strategy

From this point on, your baby shoes have been taken off (you’re a big kid now). I will now go over what you will usually want to do in order to get through this game. It may be hard at first, but that’s fine. Everyone has been there. You will get the hang of it eventually.

The first thing you may have noticed is that the pause button has been replaced with a forward arrow. If you have a HAWKEYE, You would have already noticed the backward arrow.

The forward arrow will let you proceed to the next scene. If you use your brain well, you will have already been able to figure out what the backward arrow does – goes to the previous scene. Now I know what you probably may be thinking, "ugh, that is such an inconvenient way to play the game!" Well, worry not my friend. Here are THREE alternative ways to do things.

The first tip I need to give you is that if you click ANYWHERE besides the buttons at the bottom left, the game will still progress to the next scene. no need to navigate your mouse ALL the way over there. However, you may need to go back too. This is where we start getting into the two most advanced techniques.

THE ARROW KEYS. If you want to be a pro at this game, this is the trick to be the best. When I say arrows, I don’t mean the ones on your screen, I mean on your actual KEYBOARD! By pressing the forward and back keys on your keyboard, you are able to go back and forward in the scenes INSTANTLY.

And that’s not all. Contrary to popular belief, there are actually TWO sets of arrow keys on your keyboard. They are usually not noticed to the untrained eyes, but they are on your number pad (the 4 and 6 buttons)! I don’t know if the number pad is on ALL keyboards, which may indirectly make the game more challenging to some players, but know that the option is there and you will be elite in no time.

Conclusion

Well, that’s it! I hope this guide has been helpful to you and I hope you share it with friends who may get trapped in a section (stuck, if you will).

Of course, let me know if I missed anything or got something wrong and I will make sure to edit the guide to make it better. If you find any other strats yourself, let me know!

Peace out, kids (don’t actually be kids this game is 18+ only).
