DONT PIN PORTAL STORIES MEL ON YOUR TASK BAR, WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE

This guide is to show that you SHOULDENT PIN PORTAL STORIES MEL and then open it and everything why its bad
 
 
here are the things that are different from the reg portal stories mel:
 
 
1. the title screen is reg portal 2 title
 
 

 
 
2. the only way to make a new game is to click “load game”
 
 

 
 
3.the new game button brings you to the extras tab but its broken so you cant use most of it except the lab rat comic that sends you to the actual lab rat comic steam page
 
 
4. you can only open the chapter 1952, any other chapter for some reason is unavalable because it only shows the reg portal chapters and the “test chamber cannot be found” error
 
 

 
 
5.All voice lines in the game seem to be gone.
 
 
6. the portal gun in portal stories mel is replaced with the reg portal gun and when you pick it up
 
 

 
 
7.there is no music but it still shows the old portal gun in the cutscene
 
 
8.the portal gun is made of light, it is entirely glowing light but sometimes when you get near yellow lights it turns yellow
 
 

 
 

 
 
9. virgil is replaced with wheatly
 
no i couldent get an image because it is 12 am for me and im too tired
 
 
10. the voice lines that i mentioned before when they are triggered, instead of playing it it just plays a goat sound?
 
11. for some reason in the 1952 chapter you start at the elevator thats next to the area underground you go to sleep in?
 
12. apparently when you go into the waters at the beginning of this version of the first chapter it doesent hurt you but the level resets? i dont know if this is a regular part of the game
 
 
i havent gotten to aegis yet because i can only start at the beginning chapter and i dont want to play through the entire game just for a guide, if anybody wants to, you can do it and give me the results.
 
 
i dont want to do more rn because im making this at 12 am
 
 
also, good luck doing this at night with the portal gun blinding you.
