Platro – How to skip Level 3 and make the rest of the game playable

The Problem.

Based on reviews, there isn’t really a way for most people to get past level 3. 
The door on level 3 cannot be entered, meaning that you cannot complete level 3, so you can’t get to level 4. 
This makes Platro only playable up to level 3. 
And if you couldn’t get past the door the first time, you can’t. 
 
 
 
 

The "Solution".

There really is no in-game solution on how to complete Level 3. 
However, you can open your Files, and edit the game files manually to bypass the level. 
 
C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\Steam\Steamapps\common\Platro 
You should see 2 or 3 files, including the Application itself. 
The other ones should be SCRR Files. I have no idea what SCRR stands for.  
If you try opening an SCRR File, it will most likely make it seem like you have no apps to open that kind of file. 
 
 
 

Notepad.

– Open Notepad (or another Text-editing app you have). 
 
– Open the SCRR file that’s called SavePlatro. 
(Make sure to select All Files instead of just Text Documents) 
Once you open the file, the top part should look like this. 
 
The file is easily laid out and readable. 
All you really need to do to skip level 3 is to change the level from 3 to 4. 
 
As you exit notepad, make sure to save the file. 
 
Your game is now playable.
