Welcome. This Plan B: Terraform – Water Walkthrough – Early Access Guide was written to be helpful to you, and we genuinely hope that you do.
Depots
The depots can be divided into three levels. Each tier corresponds to a hexagon. Tier 1 is equipped with 1 drone, tier 2, 2 drones, tier 3, and 4 drones. All their capacities are identical.
As they are interlinked, depots that are used for storage will try to balance one another. This means that they will try to balance each other as they are interconnected.
1 – If you have a large depot it will take time and lots resources to spread across the whole thing. It will also mean, when the depot becomes empty, that 1 resource will be left in all other depots that are not within reach of a vehicle station.
2 – Depots will use their drones as they try to balance one another. This will both impact the efficiency of disposing resource resources.
Tier 2 and 3, which have a higher reach, can be alternated to have something in between. You can jump roads/rails. This allows you to line up two or more resources. Or you can have the production plant in between and have a stack at the loading stations.
