How does this work?

This works because of a feature in the game called “Specific Path” which allows you to enter someone’s Temple Link to enter a temple someone else had died in.

How do I get my loot back?

Talk to Altec in the hub (The giant statue in the middle of the hub) and click the Share button on the temple you want the loot you lost back from, then go into the comments of this guide and paste the link there, I will reply to any temple links I have completed so I can tell people when they have their loot returned. I will also probably be checking this daily to see if any new loot needs to be returned, so maybe put your expectations a bit lower if I’m slow when it comes to returning your loot.

This is where the Share Button should be located for any temple you wish for your loot back from.

What would happen if you were to fail?

I don’t know what would happen as I have never used the Specific Path feature yet, so it might let you back in the same temple you have already entered, or it might not let you return to that temple ever again. If the latter case is true then we would have to wait for someone else to luck into our temple to get our loot back.
