Useful Console Commands

The Steam version can access the console using the / key. It is not possible to access the console on the Gamepass edition. You need to be careful when using console commands. They can cause your save to be lost. Use them at all risk. Always make a backup!

• AdvanceTimeToHour Allows for you to travel to a specified time of day. Works like (command), (“time of day”) (1 – To travel to 1 PM at 1 PM, type in “AdvanceTimeToHour131 1”. Morning hours can vary, but the typical times of day are 11/13/18/20. Andreas should respond “I should investigate/find someone for dinner” etc. Depending upon the hour that you went.
• HideHUD/ShowHUD, Hide or Display the HUD.
• UnlockAllJournalQuests: Unlocks all entries to the current quests tab in the “Journal”.
• UnlockAllJournalPeople is a key that unlocks everyone in your act’s “People” tab.
• UnlockAllGlossaryMatches unlocks all entries in “Glossary”, tab for the act.

 

Game Savings

Saves are located at %USERPROFILE%Saved GamesPentiment. The game automatically saves in 8 slots at regular intervals. Copy/paste one of your saved files every time you want to access it later. When you’re ready to go, simply copy/paste it again in the main folder.

Next, in the main navigation, click “new game”, then the blue Arrow next to your Save to access the autosave options.
