PAYDAY 2 – LBV Armorer DSOD Build

Introduction

 
Armorer is a bit of an overlooked deck by a lot of players. What it boils down to is essentially anarchist, if anarchist was an armor tanking deck instead of an armor gating deck. It has the same 2 second invincibility after your armor breaks. With this you can get from cover to cover, finish off bulldozers, play aggressively for some kills, etc all that good stuff. It is primarily used with the ICTV for its ability to take two heavy zeal shots… but i hate being slow and the LBV is my absolute favorite armor. With this build you’ll be able to take multiple light zeal shots but only one heavy, but that’s what we have invincibility for 🙂 
 
 

Skill points

 
mastermind tree is very basic, doctor bags with inspire 
 
 
 
With enforcer I take shotgun skills for my weapons of choice in this build, along with die hard aced for my vest, and bullseye for armor gating. I also grabbed shock and awe for armor regen speed. 
 
 
 
technician has a single point dumped for faster repairing on drills. 
 
 
 
In ghost I take inner pockets aced with optical illusions aced to reach the 25 detection threshold for low blow. I added on high value target to shred dozers a little faster as well. unseen strike is there because I didn’t really care about the 4 points, allocate them as you see fit. 
 
 
 
Lastly in fugitive I grab nine lives aced and basic melee/ zerk skills to power up my shotguns even more and also get some one shots on dozers and such with my ice pick. 
 
 
 
 

Weapons

 
For the primary in this build I chose the steakout. In my eyes it’s a more fun izhma. Optical illusions aced is all so we can get into crit range with this sexy beast.

as the secondary I bring an HE judge to deal with shields.

Deploy, Armor, Melee, Perk

 
Deploy is doctor bags, melee is ice pick, armor and perk are self explanatory. Also take molotovs for optimal zerk percentage. 
 
 
 
 

Maps this build works great on

 
I know that some of y’all might be thinking I’m crazy for playing armorer with a vest but this build works wonders. I’ve found amazing results on maps like stealing xmas, counterfeit, first world, diamond heist, etc. any map with good cover to play aggressively around is a keeper for this build!
