Equipment, perk and weapons

Equipment

Primary weapon: Akimbo CR 805B

 
 
 
Weapon mods: 

 
※ Akimbo Krinkovs can be used instead if you don’t own the Biker heist DLC which is required to drop CR805s concealment to 20. Build Krinkovs for 20 concealment and as much stability as possible 
 

Secondary weapon: Jacket’s piece

※If you don’t have access to Jacket’s piece cause you don’t own Hotline Miami 2: Digital Special Edition, I suggest you take the Mark 10 smg which is free. Build it for 24 concealment and as much stability as possible. 
 
 

Some tips

 
I suggest that you use the Jacket’s piece as your main weapon, and akimbo CR 805B as your backup weapon. 
 
Jacket’s piece 
This weapon is a beast, however it has two drawbacks: 
1. If you fully empty your magazine and do a dry reload it takes ages, so try to always reload while having at least one bullet in the clip. To speed up the reload even further, try to kill at least two enemies to trigger Lock n’ load. The in-game stats say the reload time is 4.3 seconds, this is only true for dry reloads. If you do tactical reloads frequently, it’s pretty quick. 
 
2. High rate of fire means it drains ammo like crazy, don’t hold down the fire button for too long, short bursts are preferable with this weapon. Try to avoid tasers if possible, cause one zap and you’ll empty your mag in a split second. 
 
CR 805B 
Switch to this weapon(s) when your Jacket’s piece is running low on ammo, and when you need to deal with ‘dozers. Shoot the dozer in the face and he’ll melt in seconds. 805Bs have a lower knockback than the Jacket’s piece and doesn’t fire as rapidly, so you can safely hold the fire button a bit longer, especially when shooting dozers. 
 
Hacker 
Is an amazing perk deck when you learn how it works. You don’t need to waste points on Sneaky b*stard, cause the 10% dodge increase is barely noticable. 
 
Try to tactically use your pocket ECMs to stun cops, to heal or both. Aim to eliminate as many cops as possible when the ecm is active, but keep in mind you can still get shot, and even downed if you’re not behind cover. 
 
Dodge perks in general 
Just because Hacker and other dodge related perks give you the ability to well… dodge, it doesn’t mean you should be running around the map like a lunatic. Stick to cover whenever it’s possible. Due to how dodge and grace mechanics work in this game, once you get shot and take damage your dodge is disabled for a couple of seconds, keep this in mind. You should rely more on your armor than on your dodge, that’s why bullseye is a very important skill. 
 
Ammo 
Don’t be too tempted to run into the open when you see lots of ammo boxes on the floor. You’re very likely to die outside of cover. If you look at the video near the 2:45 minute mark, you’ll see both of my weapons have low ammo, and there’s lots of spare ammo on the floor just a couple of meters away, but notice how my armor breaks every time I peek around the corner, If i had ran out of cover I would be dead. The weapons have very good ammo pickup rates, and deal huge amounts of damage, so don’t be too worried if you have only 20 bullets left. 
 
First aid kits 
Can help you safely perform some objectives, and can prevent a down if placed tactically. Don’t spam first aid kits like crazy in one place, that would be wasteful. If a teammate needs to heal, place a first aid kit somewhere safe and notify your teammate.
