Before we start, there will be screenshots to help you better understand what to do. So the first thing you want to do is make sure that all of your settings in game are set to the lowest they possibly can go. You do this by going to settings and then video in the game. Also if you want to squeeze a few more frames in you can try messing around with the render scaling feature. I personally like 85% because it looks decent and gives a decent frame boost. After that you want to exit the game to your desktop, press the windows key and R at the same time and it will open up a window called run. In that specific window you want to type %appdata% and then it will open up a folder. Once that folder opens up you are going to want to click on the heading at the top of the window in the explorer tab called appdata. Once you have done that go into local/pavlov/saved/config/windowsnoeditor. The first file we are going to edit is called engine.ini. Once you have opened the file, click enter twice below the text that is already in the file. Once you have done that, copy and paste of all this text in.

[SystemSettings]
r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=8
r.MaterialQualityLevel=0
r.PostProcessAAQuality=0
r.AmbientOcclusionLevels=0
r.ViewDistanceScale=0.4
r.LensFlareQuality=0
r.ShadowQuality=0
r.MaxAnisotropy=0
r.DetailMode=0
r.RefractionQuality=0
r.SSR=0

Once you have done that save the file. After you are done editing the engine.ini file enter the file called Scalability.ini. Once you have entered that file paste in this text that is similar to the last but a little different.

[FoliageQuality@0]
r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=8
r.MaterialQualityLevel=0
r.PostProcessAAQuality=0
r.AmbientOcclusionLevels=0
r.ViewDistanceScale=0.4
r.LensFlareQuality=0
r.ShadowQuality=0
r.MaxAnisotropy=0
r.DetailMode=0
r.RefractionQuality=0
r.SSR=0

After you have done that save the file and you are good to go. Just know that if this actually worked you will notice that the face detail will look a lot less detailed than normal lol. Hopefully this guide helped you 🙂 Enjoy!

  1. Instead of navigating to %appdata% then clicking appdata in the address bar, you can just navigate to %localappdata%, which takes you straight to appdata\local
