Paladins – Facts about Paladins using low spec PC Tips 2 - steamlists.com

This guide is just facts about Paladins that i have found after playing for 800 hours within 6 months on my Lenovo ThinkPad with specs Core i7 4GB RAM 500GB hard disk space and a 720p display.

Just the facts and tips I remember off my head

1. If your game doesn’t run at a constant 30fps plus, avoiding playing Maeve. The fast warping of the character back and forth when using pounce will almost not work at all for you when using it to attack.

2. Dredge is your best champion to play for those who don’t have good aim. It’s that we don’t have a good aim, that is why we play Dredge, not that we are lazy.

3. When being shot by Viktor or Vivian, try to get behind cover faster than you anticipate. The thing is

*When champions move, their hitbox is most of the time left behind them up until they stop moving again. That is, hitboxes are not attached to champions when they are moving but rather, they are slightly shifted behind the champion by i think 1 unit.

4. When playing as Raum, useability Soul Harvest at the 5-sec countdown mark or closer to when you are about to mount. The armor generated gives you an upper hand before you get attacked by which time, your cooldown should have reset.

5. Getting to LVL 50 with any champion means by that time, you would have known the names of all the maps and how to play on each map.

6. Aiming with Dredge is hard, Probably the hardest if you don’t play conventionally. Meaning, if you don’t camp and spam, aiming with Dredge is hard. Try and watch a video on youtube called “Aiming the squid”, which helps a lot to improve your aim.

7. The Frontline is not supposed to stay on the point but is the most convenient to stay on the point since each Front has that extra 2000 health, so it takes a longer time to kill them.

8. I recommend playing a support champion first before trying the other classes since you pretty much know that, your only job is to heal. Don’t play Mal’damba if you haven’t played support before. Although he can heal the most and do the most damage, just don’t.

9. Drogoz vs Dredge is literally a military jet versus a tank. Drogoz will take the win 80% of the time if he stays airborne 60% of the time.

10. Evie is Kinessa’s bane since she is the most mobile and also, Evie used as damage is kinda overrated. She takes close to perfect aim for even her explosions to do damage.

11. Play the game the way you want to while keeping in mind, you don’t jeopardize your team’s balance.

12. Cardio Vik on a map like Snowfall Junction will throw your team’s formation out of the window.

13. Flanks are not necessarily supposed to kill snipers first. But it is the most convenient thing for them to do since pretty much every flank has a small hitbox except Moji and they are also the hardest to target. Seriously, killing Rei or Io is easier than sniping a flank. That’s something Paladins did right.

14. Now something that Paladins did not do right is this. On some very rare occasions, these are very rare like 1 out of 40 matches, the game would lead you into a lobby. You will select a champion, get to the loading screen, and that’s it. The loading frames may or may not show that everyone has been loaded, but you will just be stuck at the loading screen. The match will be played through, but you will not see it or even hear it, except maybe someone tells you through their mic. Sometimes too, it will boot you out of the lobby and insert you into another lobby to begin a new game while your champion remains a bot in the previous lobby. On the not so rare occasions though, it will just log you out of the game and you will be stuck at Loading Vendors.

15. Your team should consist of someone that uses a gun most of the time, the rest is up to you.

16. Only 2 people are needed on the Capture Point in Seige, and only 1 champion is needed in Onslaught or King of the Hill.

17. Only c***s camp their opponents spawn or Dredge’s shortcut.

18. Try as much as possible to play with random people more and not a party all the time.

19. Once a while if you have the time, try non-stop to get something like the first image.
