A short breakdown on which skills are useful and which aren’t, along with a few tips.
Tips
- Generally prioritize taking and levelling active skills over passive skills. They often get much stronger at levels 5 and 10 (and with relics).
- if you don’t need a relic, you can save chests for later. The invocations can be very useful when timed well. The death skull can destroy any active crystals on the map, and full heal can… full heal… and let you face tank a boss safely for 10 seconds.
- In stage 3, the safest places to be are the corridors, since enemies are funnelled into small groups in specific directions. Stay out of the open when possible. When the shades are active and you aren’t confident in your damage, try to walk around loops and not reverse directions suddenly (or you have to deal with a huge enemy pile).

Yea the formatting kinda sucks but the game is changing rapidly at the moment so I’m just going with something I can edit fast.
