How To Fix 0 Byte Backup

 
First of all,this is the first time i’m making a guide, second of all English is not my first language so i’m sorry for the grammatical error 
 
Some of you may realize that when you backup the game, the backup folder is a bit weird. The folder is empty yet your free space is decreasing, you cant delete or copy it because windows say its not exist and you cant rename it as well,you already looking on google how to delete or fix corrupted folder but to no avail, so now i’m here to give you the solution 
 
The reason why the folder is like that is because the game name “NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139…” so when steam make the backup,Windows automatically make it a file instead of making a folder like this 
 
 
 
So how do we fix this problem? okay first what you need is XYplorer, you can download it from https://www.xyplorer.com/ 
 
 
after that you can just unzip it and install the program 
 
 
after the installation, pick continue evaluation and open the program, then you go to the game backup folder and change the name, the problematic part is the “ver.1.22474487139…” so just remember to delete that part 
 
 
 
 
now open that folder, if the backup folder is there then your backup folder just become a normal folder, you can copy, restore, or delete it now 
 
 

How To Backup The Game

 
Now that the problem fixed and we know what caused it, its pretty simple. Just go backup the game normally but when you given the chance to change the name and if you want to backup the game as CD or DVD, just delete “ver.1.22474487139…” from the name and your backup file should work normally
