There are different types of trade skills in New World. These skills are non-combat skills that fall in the crafting category like Jewelcrafting. Crafting is a profession that focuses on making weapons and other items. Below we’ve detailed everything you need to know about the cooking profession in New World.

Cooking

As a crafting skill, cooking is a really fun profession. It’s available for everyone learn and it can be done in kitchens in different types of settlements that have their own Tier Level. You can increase your Tier Level by completing different types of Town Projects.

To find a kitchen in Aeternum, open up your map and find the fork and frying pan icons on it. These icons are for the kitchens.

Cooking is mainly concerned with providing you food and beverages which furthermore grants you special effects like health/mana restoration, buffs, and other crafting bonuses. However, what most players don’t know is that cooking additionally provides you with dyes that you can use for coloring pieces of your armor.

In order to create a greater variety of food/drinks, a higher level of Cooking is required which grants you more powerful effects along with a bigger production of material in exchange for the same number of resources.

Materials and Other Relying Skills

Just like any other crafting profession in New Word, cooking also relies on a few skills and trading in order to gain resources and other materials.

Leveling up Cooking may take a while but it’s worth the effort. To level up your cooking skill, all you need to do is cook and eventually reach the maximum level; which is level 200.

Leveling up your Cooking skill to 200 may seem like a simple task, but doing it in the most efficient and quickest way possible is tough to figure out on your own.

So to help you out with that, below we’ll show you how you can Power Level your Cooking skill in New World.

How to Power Level Cooking

To Power Level your Cooking skill, you need to find the food items that take the least amount of resources but give the greatest return on XP.

Once you find such a resource, you can keep cooking it until you can’t level up with it quickly anymore. Then, you need to find another one of these items and do the exact same with it.

You have to then rinse and repeat this process until you reach the max Cooking level of 200. Finding such food items in New World can be a very difficult and tedious task.

Luckily for you, below we’ll show you exactly what food items you need to craft every step of the way to reach level 200. This will also include what resources they’ll consume and what level they’ll take you to.

Note: You’re not allowed to use the same raw foods while making the same meal.

Level 1 to 5

For the first 5 levels, you need to craft 5x Travel Rations. To do that, you’ll need the following raw materials:

  • Requires Cooking Skill Lv. 1
  • Requires Kitchen Tier 2 or Camp Tier 2
  • Awards 24 XP for Cooking Skill

Ingredients

  • 5x Red Meat ( 1 Tier 2 Raw Food )
  • 5x Berry ( 1 Raw Food )

Level 5 to 20

For the next 15 levels, you need to craft 28x Energizing Travel Rations. To do that, you’ll need the following raw materials:

  • Requires Cooking Skill Lv. 2
  • Requires Kitchen Tier 2 or Camp Tier 2
  • Awards 24 XP for Cooking Skill

Ingredients

  • 28x Red Meat
  • 28x Berry

Level 20 to 30

For the next 10 levels, you need to craft 29x more Energizing Travel Ration. To do that, you’ll need Kitchen Tier 2 and the following raw materials:

  • 29x Red Meat ( Tier 2 Raw Food )
  • 29x Berry ( Raw Food )

Level 30 to 40

For the next 10 levels, you need to craft 19x Wild Berry Trifles. To do that, you’ll need the following raw materials:

  • Requires Cooking Skill Lv. 15
  • Requires Kitchen Tier 2
  • Awards 48 XP for Cooking Skill

Ingredients

  • 19x Berry
  • 19x Nut
  • 19x Honey

Level 40 to 50

For the next 10 levels, you need to craft 23x more Wild Berry Trifles. To do that, you’ll need the following raw materials:
