N++ has a lot of problems of rendering properly levels at resolution higher than 1080p. For this reason, it’s recommended to play at 1080p or lower game resolution.
However, if you’re playing N++ on 1080p resolution on 1440p or 4K monitor, you’ll encounter that the game will be displayed in bottom left corner of the screen. And being noticeably small
However, there’s a fix for this
Fix for 4K display with 1080p game resolution / 1440p display with 720p game resolution
The solution to stretch the game window is to increase Windows scaling setting to 200%.
1920×1080 multiplied by 200% will result in 3840×2160, which is exactly 4K resolution
Similarly, 1280×720 multiplied by 200% is 1440p resolution
1440p display with 1080p game resolution
If you’re not comfortable with playing the game at 720p on your 1440p monitor, there’s a way to play at fullscreen 1080p. Although it’s a little bit longer to configure it every time, and it’s not as precise as previous method
Under Windows scaling bar press the Advanced scaling settings button
Enter 133 as a value in the text field, applychanges, then sign out
You won’t get exact 2560×1440 resolution from this, but the difference will be too small to notice
