My Singing Monsters – How to customize monster textures

Requirements

• Any Image Editing Program 
• The Game (Which you obviously have) 
• Little bit of editing skill

Finding the files

 
Right click the game, and then press local properties. 
There will be a button titled “View local files” 
 
Press that button, and your file explorer will open. 
There is a GFX folder. You want to go into that folder to find the textures. 
There is a folder called “monsters” within the GFX folder, it holds all of the monster textures. 
It might take a while to find the monster you’re looking for. 
 
 

Editing

 
Once you’ve found the monster texture you want to edit, simply put it into any photo editing software. (I use http://paint.net, although other ones like photoshop and even MSpaint will do.) Once the file is opened, there will be a ton of different little parts that are split up into sections of the monster. 
 
You can edit each part to either change the color, add new things, or remove parts. I suggest keeping a backup of the PNG somewhere, if you wish to restore the old image. 
 
 

Viewing

 
Once your monster is edited and saved, you can head into the game and find your monster. They will now have the new texture you have gave them. You are now done.
