Mount & Blade: Warband – How to Kill Orm Svarti in Viking Conquest

Javelins are your friend

In the Viking conquest campaign, you will encounter a berserker, named Orm Svarti, who is going to kill a farmer and take his daughter. You step in to duel him. Unfortunately, his amour takes pretty much 0 damage from melee weapons, such as swords and axes. I tried to out duel him a couple of times, but I was defeated every time. Make sure to SAVE before you fight him. 
 
I looked up how to kill him, but none of the forums provided any answers. My next try I tried something new and killed him first try. Here’s what I did: 

• Avoid his javelins so he doesnt break your shield. 
• When he comes at you, shield bash him. This will throw him off and leave him open to a javelin attack. 
• Jump up in the air and aim for the head. A direct headshot will kill him.

So in summary, avoid the javelins, shield bash, jump and headshot him with a javelin. After you beat him, you get his amour which is the best in the game that I have seen thus far. I feel so invincible with the amour. Just avoid javelins to the face 😉 Hope this helped.
