Templates and sources

The developers provide the option to look at the VMF source map to familiarize yourself and to view the original maps.
You can also learn about the triggers and devices of the previously described entities.

The maps that are the source can be viewed using:

…steamapps\common\Military Conflict – Vietnam\sdk\mapsrc

These folders contain the source documents for all standard maps (except training).

Tool textures and Trigger audio

There are a variety of clip textures you can pick from. They all have their individual.

Clip_plastic clip_vehicle, clip_car, and so so on. They are invisible walls that shield physical objects.

A texture is there, and it’s not uncommon without one. It is not displayed in any way in the editor or the game. It is the grenade clip, and acts as a barrier against Molotov, grenades, and gas checkers.

Trigger Audio is a unique texture that lets you create an entirely new trigger.

After passing through trigger_audio, the sound is produced.

It is used to create the sounds of grass rustling on the original maps. This is the case when, for instance, you walk along and hear Hooke rustling in your grass.

If the player runs, walks, or sneaks up on the trigger, a sound is made. If he walks, however, no sounds will be produced.

As I was able to understand it the rest of the service textures were still from CS Files:GO and Left4Dead 2.

I don’t see the benefit of disassembling them, mainly because I don’t understand why they are needed and how they function.
