Hi, welcome to this post, We are going to tell you everything there is to know about Meet Your Maker – How to Best Killboxes in this guide.

This proven method can handle even the most challenging rooms.

Haven’t gotten gud?

This isn’t an issue. I’ll help you learn faster to help you escape the difficult rooms and challenging rooms faster. Follow the steps below.

1. Collect information

Don’t be scared of spammed traps or whatnot. They won’t be able to stop you if you’re moving fast and using your head. You won’t be caught unless a claw entangles you, fling yourself into a guard’s face, or traveling through a trap’s line of fire for an extended period. In reality, you can wiggle circles around many killboxes even when the chaos is going on and you won’t take damage. It’s all about movement, jumping, and knowing that what you did is risky.

Just like that, get in, fly around. Gather information. Recognize the traps you’re confronting. Find out the different dangers that comprise the whole. Where are the guards? Where are the guards and sentinels? What can you shoot at without losing your bolts?!

You can also use flash shields to give yourself a little breathing room. However, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Note that if the ceiling of the killbox is shallow, it is best to collect as much information without entering the room. There’s less information to collect since there’s not much verticality involved.

2. First, eliminate the most grave dangers

What obstacles in the room create a large arc of fire? Which are the most dangerous? What mods can cause obnoxious effects like the flamethrower napalm or lingering sentinel AOE? Find out the answer and then eliminate these obstacles first.

How?

Similar to how you collected info. Swoop in, remove one target, and then take off. Breathe. You just made the killbox that much easier. One trap destroyed might not seem like much, but it is permanently gone (unless your run is restarted).

Don’t be scared to use your sword. You could get in close on ranged traps much more often than you think. Your sword can deflect almost all things, and you have the option of choosing your timing. Wait for a gap between shots, zip in, crush the target, and return. Or, look out, then shoot an explosive bolt at the target, then crawl back in the cover and wait for the shots to stop flying at you. Take your bolt and hold it to protect yourself.

Repeat this process until you’ve created more safe ground to stand.

3. Clear traps with a limited number of traps

If it’s not a flamethrower or sentinel, piston, or modified spike trap, it has to stop firing after it fires one or two times. Fighting through the flames of traps that aren’t activated is safer than you think. It’s easy to take charge and soon be surrounded by a room of traps that aren’t active. Of course, this doesn’t apply to guards.

4. Engage in what is left

If you want to eliminate the killbox instead of fighting it, you must overcome every remaining obstacle. There could be 14 enforcers who are all on islands that are surrounded by corrosive cubes. There’s nothing to do here but git great.

Get comfortable with the rhythm that guards (and guards modded with increased firing rate) shoot at you. Know what it looks like. Bait their shots, then strafe away from where you’ve baited them, and swoop in for the kill. Your custodian can be an enigma.

Watch this spur-of-the-moment recording I recorded. You can see how I applied the steps to beat this killbox. This is similar to how your game will look like after a few hours of practice and application.

Addendum: Don’t get tilted

You signed up to participate in the game where other players try to kill you using their creations. The expectation is that the players will have fun and have more fun than you do. They’re out to beat you. Stay cool.
