Basic walkthrough for Manufactoria 2022. This contains the best solutions that I know of. This is a work in progress. And I will update solutions as I find / am told of better solutions. If you would like to be credited send me your best and I’ll make sure to mention you.

1). Introduction

Hey there, I was an avid fan of the original Manufactoria flash game on Pleasing Fungus way back when. Actually was searching for a working copy when I stumbled upon this gem. Have been telling all my programmer friends about it.

One of the things I loved about the original was the sharing of best scores. Though back then it was Time and Number of components. In this new version we have three: Time, Scanners + Stampers, and Area. I can still remember the post that was kept up to date with the best of the best proven times. By the time I stopped playing I had achieved every single one of them. And incredibly even beat one.

This guide is first and foremost meant to compile the best solutions over time. The first section is only the best scores as having been proven to me by screenshots with reproducible solutions.

Please do keep in mind that I just got the game and am actively playing through it in the midst of my busy schedule. I’ll be updating sections as I complete them. Already I have a few innovative solutions that beat what I’m dubbing as the “Medal Target”.

Overall I hope you find this guide helpful. And I would love to see your solutions that eclipse my own.

  Chain the scanners so that each one feeds into the next with the final red leading to the exit.
