Hey there, welcome to this post. This Lords of Infinity – Army Reform Commission Gameplay Guide was created to help you.

In a rich gunpowder fantasy setting, lead an ancient and crumbling noble house. To gain power and prestige – or to save a doomed kingdom from itself – lie, bribe, and conspire.

Introduction

Before we get to the guide lets see how to get on the commission. Following are the ways to get on the commission:

  • If you are Lt. Colonel you need at least 50 reputation.

  • If you are Major you need at least 65 reputation.

  • If you are Captain you need at least 80 reputation.

  • Third way is if you cite your expertise as a soldier for this to succeed your (soldiering+intellect) needs to be equal or more than 100.
  • Fourth way is if you decide to appeal to the King directly, for this to succeed one of the following conditions need to be fulfilled:

  • Marcus d’al Havenport
  • Eleanora d’al Welles
  • William d’al Elson (Father of Davis d’al Elson, our Captain in Sabres of Infinity)

  • Fifth way is if you choose to let your reputation speak for you, this has 3 variations based upon your rank:

  • If your ‘royal’ stat is equal to or above 35 (this is a hidden variable which is imported from Guns of Infinity, and this should be 35 or more in a general competent hero run.)
  • If your influence with royalist faction is at least 40 (should be relatively easy if you choose to speak in favor of army in prologue, and choose victory square townhouse, other ways are also possible).

Now on to the Guide…

There are a few variations and outcomes that need to be understood before you can effectively use this guide.

1. Most important variation is whether in previous game you participated in the Secret Mission (SM) or Second Battle of Kharangia (2K). These two will greatly impact what is achievable in the commission. The commission consists of 3 factions (schools), Cavalry led by Palliser, Infantry led by Hawthrowe, and Wreck led by Castermaine, each with their own priorities.

  • If you are Lt. Colonel you need at least 50 reputation.
  • If you are Major you need at least 65 reputation.
  • If you are Captain you need at least 80 reputation.

  • Fourth Vote is in Chapter 8. This vote will determine whether commission will make a recommendation on Garing’s new gun. This has 5 outcomes.

  • Commission recommends full and immediate adoption.

  • Commission recommends limited adoption for testing purpose.

  • Commission recommends trial of guns to be held for evaluation.

  • Commission recommends possibility of future trials.
