Infinite chapter 4 resource farm.

So we need resources

And resources are capped in acts 1-3. Fortunately, resources are uncapped in Act 4. If only there were a way to play infinitely…

Fortunately there is. Let’s start with a few assumptions:
1. You’ve unlocked Alchemist to shift resources that we get around.
2. You’re familiar with your class, and can get a run off the ground with it.
3. You have the following unlocked at minimum:
– Village
– Ruins
– Road Lantern
– Oblivion

I also recommend using these in your build:
– Bookery
– Beacon

I personally also used:
– Vampire Mansion (really over powered in early game)
– River
– Forest (only place the thickets, cycle forests with the bookeries)
– Suburbs
– Blood Grove (no regular grove, just using thickets to place them)
– Battlefield

The Strat

We’re going to start like any build will, with some setup. If you’re using vampire mansions, you want to get two ransacked villages online next to your campfire as fast as possible. Watchtower upgrades make these easy to deal with, and they’re very profitable early game. If you are on warrior or necro, get 1-2 blood groves to cover them and the campfire (rogue doesn’t benefit as much from flesh golems). All of this buildup around the campfire reduces the number of lich’s palace tiles that spawn when you spawn the lich.

At the same time that you’re building up villages around the campfire, start placing ruins on the longest straight parts of the loop that you can find. Initially you’ll want to stagger them every other tile so the wurms can’t shoot into adjacent fights. You can use blood groves to ensure the kill on these, but be careful not to place too many.

Our actual goal is to get roadside lanterns placed so that every non-village part of the path is covered by 4 of them. Burn down the first three bosses while doing this, but once the third dies, you’re going to want to stop placing any tiles that aren’t relevant. We don’t want or need to spawn the fourth boss. At this point the goal is to make sure that every village is fully surrounded by roadside tiles before placing another one. This will allow us to avoid spawning bandit camps. At the same time we want to extend the road of ruins as they will be our payout. Somewhere around loop 20-25 you should be able to cover the full loop with villages/ruins. At this point, make sure that you have full roadside lantern coverage, and that no battlefields are adjacent to a ruin (they can’t spawn chests into villages). If done right, no enemies will spawn. You should have long since had full beacon coverage, so now we can go afk and reap the rewards!
