Little Briar Rose – Achievement Guide

Is a lovely point-and-click adventure with simple minigames.

Finish the game without ever: 

• Using Hints (top right corner).
• Clicking on the Wisp when playing maze puzzles.

Can use -screen-width 1280 -screen-height 720 as launch options to switch game resolution.

Can press Alt+Enter to set windowed mode.

Follow the guide thoroughly to avoid any issues.

Start a new game and choose any save slot.

• After the introductory scenes, walk right into the next area and take the pathway down.
• Talk to the architect twice (on table) and then to the painter.
• Answer with:
  • Yes

   

• Talk to the architect again to make him drop the plans.
• Interact with the Plans and solve the puzzle:

 

Master Architect
Choose the right decoration for the Gnomes' house.

• After a short chat with the fairy, open your inventory (bag on right corner).
• Use the Gnomes’ Wish on the mushroom table.
• Solve the puzzle without using hints or clicking on the wisp.
  • Your objective is to make the flame reach the middle area.
  • Click on the middle once it’s ready:

 

Too easy for me!
Don't use hints in the first maze puzzle.

• Interact with the Red Rose behind a small rock nearby.
• Head right to the new area.
• Pick up the Shell near the lake and the Glowing Flower near the waterfall.
• Talk to the Mermen King sitting on the throne.
• Go left and down back to the Gnome Village.
• Talk to the architect sitting at the table.
• Head back to the lake and talk to the Mermen King again.
• Go back to the village and talk to the smoking gnome near the entrance.
• Go down and talk to the carpenter to receive a Fishing Rod.
• Also, pick up the Saw nearby.
• Head back to the Mermen waterfall.
• Equip the Fishing Rod (from the bag), and interact with the fishing spot on the upper right corner.
• This will begin a fishing minigame:
  • Catch eight items to clear this fishing spot;
  • Hold LMB and drag the square at the top of the screen following the fish movement.
  • Do this until filling up the bar.
  • Try again after each attempt until the spot is empty.
  • Be aware that the last fish is quite challenging to catch.

Golden Fish
Capture the Golden Fish.

• Talk to the Merman with the purple tail.
• Open your inventory and give him the Claw. Receive Gems.
• Head back to the Gnome Village and give 3x Big Fish to the smoking gnome.
• Also, pick up the small Mirror on the left, near the flower pot.
• Go up once and use the Saw on the small branch on the tree (top right corner).
• Receive Trident.
• Go back to the starting location (left).
• Use the Fishing Rod on the berry tree to receive Ink Berry.
• Head back to the Gnome Village (right and down).
• Give the Trident, Gems, and Shark Tooth to the smoking gnome.
• Talk to the architect, painter, and carpenter.
• Talk to the smoking gnome.
• Answer with:
  • Everything is ready, we can go!

   

• Use Triton’s Wish on the mushroom table.
• Solve the puzzle (click on the middle once it’s done):

 

Come on, take me seriously!
Don't use hints in the second maze puzzle.

• Go through the newly opened area at the top left corner.
• Talk to the fairy on the stage.
• Open your inventory and give her the Glowing Flower.
• Leave and head to the Mermen Waterfall on the right.
• Talk to the Merman with the purple tail and then to the Merman King.
• Talk to the Merman with the red star and give him the Ink Berry to receive Dirty Golden Scale.
• Use Dirty Golden Scale on the fishing spot to receive Golden Scale.
• Go back to the fairies on the upper left corner.
• Give the Golden Scale to the fairy on the stage.
• Try to pick up the huge purple flower at the bottom left area.
• Talk to the middle fairy and give her the Mirror.
• Now, pick up the purple flower to receive BellFlower and give it to the fairy on the stage.
• Head back to the Gnome Village and speak to the smoking gnome.
• Go back to the middle intersection.
• Use the Small Fish on the bird sitting on the nest (bottom left corner).
• Return to the Gnome Village and talk to the smoking gnome again.
• You’ll get Cloud after the scene.
• Go back to the fairies and give the Cloud to the fairy on the stage.

Fashion Designer
Obtain a Perfect result in the sewing game.

• Talk the the fairy and answer with:
  • Yes

   

• A minigame will start:
  • Click on the ZZZ and skulls to win; avoid clicking on light bulbs.
  • You’ll receive Fairies’ Wish after winning.

   

• Use Fairies’ Wish on the mushroom and solve the puzzle:

 

Child's play!
Don't use hints in the third maze puzzle.

• Another area will open at the bottom right corner. Go through it.
• Talk to the Spriggan with the flower (green gnome-like creature) at the top right area 3 times.
• Answer with:
  • Yes
  • Choose Red

   

• Talk to the Spriggan sitting on the right and choose:
  • Err…Two arms only. Two common arms.
  • Are you Serious? No, the head would happen to be on top, you see…

   

• Talk to the Spriggan with the flower again.
• Talk to the Spriggan juggling with apples.
• Go back to the Mermen Waterfall and talk to the guard on the right of the king.
• Head back to the Spriggan Village and talk to the juggler again.
• Interact with the cauldron and play the minigame.
  • You need to do everything perfectly so follow the order of items listed below.
  • Also, be careful of the timing:
    • Fish
    • Flame
    • Stir for 10 seconds
    • Flame
    • Carrot
    • Potato
    • Stir for 7 seconds
    • Wait for the “Now! Add it now!” message.
    • Onions
    • Stir for 3 seconds
    • Fish
    • Flame
    • Stir for 2 seconds.

   

• If you failed any step simply retry the mini-game until everything goes perfectly.

Master Chef
Obtain a Perfect result in the cooking game.

• You’ll get Recipe.
• Give the Recipe to the Spriggan with the flower.
• Talk to the Spriggan sitting at the table.
• Leave and speak to the bird sitting on the nest.
• Head to the Gnome Village and talk to the Painter.
• Now, talk to the Carpenter and to the Painter again.
  • Choose Yes when asked.

   

• Leave and head to the Mermen waterfall.
• Talk to the Purple Tail Merman and then to the Red Tail Merman sitting next to the waterfall.
• Answer with:
  • Yes (when asked)

   

• Speak to the Merman with the Red Star.
• Leave and head back to the Spriggan Village.

 

• Quit to menu and at:
  STEAM\USERDATA\YOUR-NUMBER\555290\REMOTE (to get all achievements in one playthrough)

 

• Continue.
• Talk to the Spriggan with the flower.
• Answer with:
  • Yes

   

• During the next scene, answer with the following:
  • Suggest the Marman’s poem
  • Give her a red flower
  • For a dinner at my place
  • We’ll talk about insects

Beggar
Collect every item.
Dating Sim
Help the Spriggan date the Fairy.

• Use Spriggans’ Wish on the mushroom to start the final puzzle minigame:

 

Maze Champion
Don't use hints in the fourth maze puzzle.

• Lastly, a path to the castle will open. Go through it.
• Go up and click on the princess.
• Answer with:
  • Yes (when asked)

   

• Watch the scenes and credits…

Charming Prince
Finish the game with the first prince.
Happily Ever After
Finish the game once.

  • Improvise

   

• Talk to the Spriggan with the flower again and pick:

  • Green
  • Improvise

   

• Repeat the previous step 7 times to unlock:

Dinasty Killer
Die seven times.

• You’ll now be Philip (red dressed prince).
• Talk to the Spriggan with the flower and choose:
  • Yes
  • Red

   

• On the next scene, choose:
  • Suggest the Merman’s Poem
  • Give her a red flower
  • For a dinner at my place
  • We’ll talk about insects

   

• Use Spriggans’ Wish on the mushroom and solve the maze:

 

 

• Take the path to the castle and kiss the princess.

Your princess is in another castle...
Kiss the Princess with the wrong prince.

• Leave the castle and head back to the starting location (bottom left from mushroom).
• Talk to the green fairy.

Hey! Listen!
Listen to all of Navi's advices.

• Head back to the Gnome Village and go all the way down and right.
• Interact with the Gnome with the blue hat.
• You’ll be now carrying him.
• Carry him to the fountain by the castle entrance and then speak to him.
  • Choose Yes when asked.

   

• You’ll regain control over the first prince.
• Go inside the castle and kiss the princess.

Disneyan
Finish the game with the second prince (Philip).
