This guide will teach you how “Defeat 100 enemies using Special Moves” within a few minutes

The Method

Select Advanced Room 5 and use the Dragonfire Blaze. Hold RT/R2 on as many Scarecrows as you can. Repeat this until you achieve the achievement.

What?

Special Moves is the glowing red moves that you use by holding down RT/R2. The game wants to kill 100 enemy with these moves even though they are pretty impractical when compared to Heat Actions. The scarecrows inside the Scarecrow Chateau are considered enemies by the game, saving us from the hassle of grinding in the Arena or on the streets.

William Bradley teaches the Dragonfire Blaze method. You can meet him in Chapter 3 east of the Chicken Racing Rathole. This will be the first thing you learn from him.

The Chateau is located southwest of the Gambling Den. The closest is the Kamo River Palanquin if you have unlocked it. You’ll need to earn 3 stars on 4 of the Basic Rooms in order to unlock the Advanced Rooms.

Be sure that you can shoot a 100 point scarecrow using your Dragonfire Blaze. For this, any half-decent gun should be fine. The “Dragonfire Salvo”, and “Heat Increase”, upgrades will make the game even faster, but they aren’t necessary.

Time to have fun! Select Advanced Room 5. It’s short and you always start out with full Heat. As you move forward, use your Dragonfire Blaze against each group of scarecrows. You can continue this process until you run out time or have eliminated all the scarecrows. You won’t get enough Heat to kill all of the scarecrows but you should be able ten or more kills per try if things go well.

Repeat the mission as many times as you need, scarecrows pulverizing until you achieve.

This achievement is achievable with any Special move in any room that starts you off with full Heat. Knowing that the scarecrows will count towards this achievement makes it much less tedious.
