Welcome. This Like a Dragon: Ishin! – Chapter 3: Rakugai Walkthrough Guide was written to be helpful to you, and we genuinely hope you do.
Chapter 3
18 The Reluctant Son
Location: East Umekojicho
Look at the mother and son as they are in the middle of a heated argument. The mother will approach you, and she’ll ask you to speak to her son. Agree to her request and she’ll take you to her home where you’ll be required to select from a variety of choices for dialog. The specific answers don’t matter to me, so try not being too aggressive. These are the answers I chose:
Answer 1:
What are your greatest pa*sions in your life?
Answer 2:
Make an intimate connection
Answer 3:
Appeal to his conscience
Reward: Iron Gauntlets. Rainbow Shard 350 Virtue
If you took the agressive route, you’ll end up with just one silver scrap instead.
21 – Sonna Joui
Location:, located in an alleyway in the south end of North Umekojicho
Listen to these two men speak about a group that is a target for foreigners. Follow Creek to Sannocho (near Mukurogai’s entrance) and you’ll be approached by extremists. After battling them, make your way to Mukurogai where you’ll meet Creek again at the east side of the second floor (near the stairs) and participate in a final battle.
*
To get to Mukurogai you may need to finish the main story. The ferry will be first available so you’ll need the ferryman in Fushimi.
Reward: 350 Virtue
22 – Ee Ja Not Ka
Location: In Sannocho at the Jizo statue
*
If you’re having trouble getting this substory to trigger the story, I had to move towards East Umekojicho from Sannocho. Perhaps it’s because there are several substories within this region?
Move towards the crowd of dancers to take on more ruffians.
Reward: Vermilion Fabric, 300 Virtue
25 – The Sword Nut
Location: East and the jizo statue in Sannocho
The sword enthusiast should be approached to start an action. Then you’ll create a bond, and the substory will be completed.
Reward: 150 Virtue
