You can draw brushstrokes along the ruler.

The ruler will be displayed in the lower left corner of the canvas by clicking the “Show ruler”.

This ruler is the same as the curves in vector layer.

The red dot is the starting point for the ruler.

When the “Start Drawing from the Starting Point of the Ruler (Red Point)” option is unchecked the brush strokes are made at the point with the shortest distance from the position touched by the brush to the ruler.

By clicking “Start editing”, you can change ruler shape.

• Select control point

  Click the control button

• Moves the control point

  – Click the control point, and drag it.

• Deletes control point

  – Click the control point and then Alt + click it

• Whether or not the control point should be a sharp line

  – Click on the control point using Ctrl and click

• To the end curve, add a control point

  Click anywhere except the control point

• Insert a control point at the middle of a curve

  Click anywhere in the curve

• Add the control point to the curve at the end

  – Ctrl+click somewhere other than the point of control

• Add a control (sharp angle), in the middle of a curve

  – Ctrl+ click anywhere on a curve

• Maintain curve shape by moving the curve

  – Shift+Alt+click and drag

• Move Multiple Control Points Together

  – Shift+click + drag to move control points in the circle

• Scale the curve

  – Click and drag left/right using Ctrl+Alt+click.

• Rotate curve around clicked position

  – Ctrl+Shift+Alt + click left or right and drag

By clicking on the “Finish Editing”, you can use the brush to draw again.
