Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG. Now you can take control of the action and be at the center of your adventure in the wizarding world.

This guide will inform you about the four different “houses” that you have the option to choose from in Hogwarts Legacy. You can only join one house, but this guide will help determine which one is right.

Precursor

I recommend choosing your house based on the aesthetics and not the house attributes. These are irrelevant. But, the aesthetics will have an impact on your common space and your character’s clothes so I would choose a house that you love.

The Aesthetics

As shown below, each house has its unique aesthetic.

The standard rooms of the 4 houses:

You will also notice that your scarf’s color changes depending on which house you live in.

Gryffindor’s red is Ravenclaw’s blue; Slytherin green; Hufflepuff yellow.

Every house has its emblem. You can choose the emblem you like best or the house’s color.
