This guide will tell you how to unlock upgrade achievements.

The title is ‘defective’ because an unsavory corporate experiment connects a musician to his heart; Chai must now fight for his freedom in an edgy animated world where everything – platforming puzzles, enemies attacks, and even the colorful gags & banter – are synchronized to the beat.

Open Up the Mosh Pit!

Take on armies of corporate drones (read real robots) in thrilling combat that amplifies the rhythm. Time your moves to master flashy Beat Hits, hard-hitting special abilities and even combination attacks with your allies! Want to show off? Get even more involved and get into the groove to increase your skill and earn those covetous S-rank scores.

Rowdy Rebels Vs. Badass Bosses

Form a group of vibrant colleagues and fight for the heart of a heartless corporation. Each department’s boss, from Production to Marketing and Finance, will be on hand to assist you in an array of high-stakes battles that are accompanied by your music.

Grab Your Headphones

Enjoy a mixtape of original songs and music by Nine Inch Nails. The Prodigy, The Joy Formidable and many more! You’d like to show off your abilities to a live-stream audience. There’s no need to worry: Hi-FiRUSH has an alternative audio mode for streamers that replaces licensed tracks with original tracks explicitly created for streaming Hi-FiRUSH.

Upgrade Achievements

These Achievements can be obtained by upgrading your gear. You’ll have to spend lots of equipment or search for upgrades throughout the levels.

Chip-Tuned

Make sure your slots are filled to their maximum capacity.

To get this achievement, you’ll require a change to your Chip Capacity from Macaron. These upgrades will cost you several Gears so make sure you run through the Rhythm Tower a couple of times to obtain.

I play my Own Way

Purchase and equip your first special attack.

The achievement says purchase an exclusive attack and equip that. When you are done with the menu you will receive the achievement.

Whoa! There’s an additional health bar! ?

You can increase your health to unlock a second level.

I Think That’s Enough Health For the moment.

Fully upgrade your health bar by collecting all Life Gauges.

You can improve your health both by upgrading it in the shop for Gears and also by locating Life Gauge pieces throughout the different Tracks. These items can be found by using Chip Sense and your intuition. I am currently developing a guide to all locations. It will be released and included in this guide after it is published.

Fully Powered Up!

Upgrade your Reverb Gauge to its maximum.

You can increase your Reverb Gauge by both upgrading it in the Gears Shop as well as finding Reverb Core pieces throughout the various Tracks. These are easy to find due to the “Chip Sense Chip” and your sense. I am working on a guide for all of their locations . it will be available and included in this guide shortly after this guide has been published.

Check My Moves

Buy every combination and receive a partner attack.

Similar to Chip-Tuned, this will cost you a lot of Gears , so be sure to complete the Rhythm Tower to earn as many as you can, as well as doing Mural Challenges.
