How to set Thrustmaster T16000M dual joysticks up to work with Heavy Works

Intro

When I joined the Heavy Works
Discord – [discord.gg]

I asked the devs if the game supports dual joysticks and was quickly answered. They said that XBOX controller support was available, but they didn't know if dual joysticks would work. The dev worked directly with me to test the controls and configured them.

Setup

Step 1:

Turn off/unplug all controllers.

Step 2:

Start Heavy Works

Step 3:

Plug in the joysticks that you want to use Start with the one on the left. Windows assigns controllers an ID number when they are plugged into, and the game pulls this ID to assign them in the correct order. This step is not critical, but if you have used multiple joysticks to control heavy equipment in other games, the controls will be reversed.

Step 4:

Profit?

Additional Info

At the moment, there is no way for custom controls, dead-zones or sensitivities to be set. However, I imagine that such features will soon be possible.

Heavy Works devs are highly involved in the development of this and other games.
