Convoy Raiding

Convoy raiding in just 1 Sea zone can already reduce the efficiency of trade routes by 50 percent!

Convoy raiding is one of the main goals of the navy; cripple their trade routes, and you’ll restrict their access to vital resources like oil and rubber. Convoy Raiding can also block supply to troops overseas; troops on remote islands are at risk of being destroyed.

Although I would not recommend doing research on naval technology (the navy supports and assists the army), I will make an exception for submarines. submarines get MUCH better over time!

The 1940 Submarine, when combined with Snorkel can be very hard to detect without the proper patrol vessels.

Subs are even better with the 1944 Hull together with Snorkel II.

1936 Raider Submarine

This is your ready-to-go design at the start of the game. Simple, yet effective. Use them in groups of 10.

1940 Snorkel Submarine

This design is a huge upgrade over the 1936 design. It is very difficult to detect and is almost impossible to find by the AI.
