This guide will show you how to fix the Denuvo FPS breaking and stuttering issues. It also includes a list of other useful mods.

Prerequisites

Run the game once and then download it.
Diva Mod Manager – [gamebanana.com]

Set it up as shown on the page. You can either download mods directly from the mod manager (GB Mods tab or via the gamebanana website. Turn off MegaMix Mode (Options>Visual Settings>Future Tone) and turn off uploading to the leaderboards (Gallery>Ranking>Upload Settings). Otherwise, you risk a ban and some funky graphics.

Important Mods

• DivaNoSpy – [gamebanana.com]

  Disables Denuvo’s stuttering garbage

• High Refresh Ratio – [gamebanana.com]

  Framerate can be locked, which can edited in mods/High refresh rate/config.toml. I recommend 60fps. The game’s frame limiter is useless and breaks over time.

• DivaBackup – [gamebanana.com]

  Backups the save data in case of steam cloud or save ups

• Miku SEGA – [gamebanana.com]

  Miku will sing SEGA on the SEGA splash screen as directed by the Gods

 

Optional Mods

• 720p Movies Base Game – [gamebanana.com]

  Recommend for a lower-end computer to reduce lag

• Song Limit – [gamebanana.com]

  Removes the song limit from 300 if you have more than 300 songs. KNOWN BUG: This does not earn you VP. You will need the item unlock key DLC to unlock additional modules.

• Project DIVA F2nd song pack – [gamebanana.com]

  Includes songs from Project Diva F2nd

• David’s XHD Demo Pack [11 songs] – [gamebanana.com]

  Includes songs from Project Diva X HD

• PDRPC Discord Rich Presence For Mega Mix+ – [gamebanana.com]

  Discord Rich Presence now available so that your friends can see you playing SMF on extreme

• Disable Watermarks

  Enables watermarks on the PV. If you want clean screenshots

• Item Icons and HTML4 Module – [gamebanana.com]

  The PS4 Icons are updated with and the toon shader is removed.

• English Lyrics

  This mod changes the on-screen lyrics to English and includes an extra download of the F2nd songs. It currently doesn’t include X HD. There are also lyrics mods available for other languages. At the moment, all I could find were Vietnamese, Korean, and Chinese.

• Korean Censored Restored – [gamebanana.com]

  This is a must-have for anyone who lives in Korea and wants to play Senbonzakura or Oheda Night.

  There are tons of mods available for modules, including PDF2nd and X HD songs packs. These are easy to find so get creative!
