-Installation

-Install Half-Life (1998 on Steam.

A clean installation is recommended

-Open your game folder on stam library.

Unzip the hl1-rt-combined.zip contenr into the game folder.

If you have a older version, you should first delete the rt and rt_bin folders, and then replace the rest, if necessary.

Execute from rt_bin/xash3d.exe

-Download: nvngx_dlss.dll -ver 2.5.1

2.5.1 The latest versions add ghosting to the image, at least for now.

Replace the file rt_bin/RayTracedGL1.dll for the new model on bin/RayTracedGL1.dll, which is a variation of 22A130726

-Put nvngx_dlss.dll into the rt_bin directory.

-FAQ

?Can i use HD models?

-Yes you can, just put them in: Half-Life\rt\valve

Take in mind this could reeplace some character reflective textures , like helmets for guards.

Can I use an og crowbar in place of the HD?

-Yes delete the file v_crowbar.mdl on Half-Life\rt\valve\models

Does it work with AMD?

Yes, if it is in line with the minimum specifications.

?Can i use custom maps?

Yes, but you need to modify the illumination first, and then go through the discussion on github.
