This is a guide that I originally created for my guild [ToA]

There are many resources available, including guides, benchmarks, builds, and other community resources.

Beginning

You will find the options for Builds’ and ‘Benchmarks’ in the top bar. Clicking on one of these will take to the respective webpage.

Benchmarks

Benchmarks are the ranking of the best average DPS builds. The best builds with the highest average DPS are ranked.

  • There are some incredibly important disclaimers that you should keep in mind when looking at benchmarks.
  • In perfect conditions, benchmarks can be recorded. These builds are extremely optimized, have perfect stats, boons, are hitting a golem which is completely still and has no mechanics. This environment is impossible in a raid scenario.
  • RNG can make benchmarks either impossible or possible due to skills and rotations.
  • Players who are extremely skilled at the game have benchmarks. They spent a lot time practicing each build to maximize DPS.
  • Benchmarks can provide valuable insight into optimal DPS builds but not into optimized group compositions and support roles.
  • Benchmarks don’t take into account the mechanics and tactics of boss fights.

All of this said, benchmarks can give you a great idea of what DPS builds are best for the current meta.

We can see the highest DPS builds in the balance patch of March 29, 2022 by looking at the benchmarks. Condition Virtuoso currently has the highest DPS with 41,000 average DPS, and a maximum of 41.503.

Clicking the video icon beside the build title will take you to a video that shows the build in action and its rotation as it reaches the benchmark.

Clicking on the link icon beside the video icon will open that build’s page.

Construction

Each profession (Guardian,) Warrior, etc has a list hosted on the Snow Crows site. Similar to the benchmarks these builds change depending on the balance patches and the meta.

There are many builds available for each profession that players can build to suit their specific needs.

These builds are optimized for raids, strikes, or dungeons. These builds are essential to succeed in raids and similar content. These builds can have mixed results in the open-world.

Guardian offers a wide range of build options.

Each guide will give you information about the build and the role it plays.

  • Power Dragonhunter: This is a power DPS built using the Dragonhunter Elite (HoT) specialization.
  • Condition Firebrand: A condition DPS built using the Firebrand PoF) elite specialization.
  • Condition Quickness Firebrand is a condition DPS build that uses the Firebrand build. It sacrifices some DPS in order to maintain 100% quickness for 5 players.
  • Heal Quickness Firebrand – A supportive Firebrand build that ensures that 5 players have 100% uptime and provides lots of healing.
  • Condition Willbender: A condition DPS built using the Willbender (EoD) elite specialization.
  • Power Willbender is a power DPS built using the elite Willbender specialization.
  • Alacrity Willbender – A niche DPS build (can either be constructed for power or condition), which sacrifices damage to provide alacrity to five players.

Clicking on any one of these builds will take to you to the build page. The build guide includes a description at the top of each build, as well as information about the stats, weapons and infusions that it uses.

Every single (item (armor, weapons, accessories, amulets, rings, backpiece, armor, backpiece, amulet, amulet and rings) uses power Dragonhunter’s stats (or stats with Power as its major stat, Precision and Ferority its minor stats,)).

Power Dragonhunter’s weapons include a Greatsword and a Shield, one in each weapon.

Power Dragonhunter uses Mighty +9 Infusions, uses the food bowl of Sweet and Spicy Butternut Soup, and uses Potent Superior sharpening stone.

Power Dragonhunter uses six Superior Rane of the Scholar, along with a Superior Sigil Of Impact and Superior Sigil Of Force on each weapon set.

Clicking on any of the items will bring up more information about that receptive item.

Important notes:

  • All stats are Ascended/Legendary-quality (, the best stats). Exotic stats can be a viable option as you build your character.
  • Infusions are a highly optimized part of a build. They generally increase DPS by 2% per build. Infusions can be very expensive, and players don’t find the reward worth the effort.
  • These are the best foods and utility items to use. They are also often very expensive. There are cheaper options for every food that many players will use, even if the DPS is not required to be optimal.
  • These builds often use expensive runes or sigils that are cheaper. They are still viable, even though they are not as good, but they are still feasible at a lower cost.

Next are the Skills and Traits Power Dragonhunter uses.

We can see that Power Dragonhunter uses the Litany of Wrath healing ability; the Procession of Blades and Sword of Justice utility skills; and Dragon’s Maw Elite skill.

Power Dragonhunter also uses Radiance, Zeal and (, which are all Dragonhunter trait lines.

Specific build guides will include usage notes, (the order in which to use skills), alternative skills and traits that can be used in specific situations, as well as other information.

Clicking ‘Copy Build Template” will allow you to copy a code to your clipboard. This code can be pasted in-game in chat to equip the Skills and Traits this build uses into your Build Templates.

Important note for new players: There are beginner versions and options available for many builds that can be used as a starting point for learning the profession and then eventually stepping into the actual build.

Conclusion

Snow Crows optimizes builds so you can approach difficult group content with confidence. Different builds will be used depending on the group.

Each player needs a variety different boons. Many groups require a variety of healing builds, depending on the encounter. Many groups will also require special builds for their bosses, such a tank or kiter build.

You can build a character to run a Snow Crows-based viable build. This will give you a solid character that can be very useful in raids. You and your group can learn multiple builds to allow you and your group flexibility in how you approach boss fights and create great group compositions.
