Health Upgrades

Steelworks

Steelworks, the first stage of the Optic Circuit, contains a health upgrade. The health upgrade is behind this destructible flooring, which is located next to the checkpoint just after the first few Laser Traps.

There is a short section of spikes and lasers in the hidden room. You should be able grab the first health upgrade without any problem if you are quick enough.

Junkyard

The Junkyard stage of the Patch Circuit contains the next health upgrade. The upgrade is behind this destructible barrier, just before the underground part of the level.

There are four blob-dispensing guns on the ceiling. This upgrade is best obtained with the Air Jumper Chip, but it can be obtained using the Hookshot.

Mountains

The second to last health upgrade is found in the Cooler circuit’s stage, Mountains. This health upgrade is hidden behind a destructible wall.

This section can be a little tricky. You must divekick (down + attack midair) the floating mines.

This health upgrade is yours if you have the patience!

City Center

The final health upgrade can be found on the Wave Circuit’s Stage. The City Center. This passage is located below.

It may seem like a bottomless pit at first, but if slide down the wall you will discover a hidden corridor containing the final upgrade to your health!

Burst Upgrades

 

Power Plant

The Power Plant is the stage of the Power Circuit. This destructible wall is hidden behind a health pickup.

You’ll need to use your hookshot to quickly dodge lasers above. This should be your first upgrade to burst!

Highway

The second burst is located on the Highway stage of the Shift Circuit. It’s located on top of the truck that is next to the hidden truck in the picture above Kai. To reach the hidden truck, you need to use the hookshot.

The Air Jumper is highly recommended.

Ore Mines

Ore Mines is the stage of the Break Circuit where you can find the third burst upgrade. It’s hidden behind this destructible roof.

If you are not fast or careful, the hidden area can be tricky.

Warehouse Area

The final burst is located in the Warehouse Area of the Cyberspace section on the Cipher Circuit stage. There’s a small hole in the middle of this spike pit that allows you to sneak under the second green portal and get the final upgrade!
