Grand Theft Auto V – GTA 5 Online sign in failed Fix Tips

If you have an issue playing Grand Theft Auto V Online and is not working, in this guide I will let you know how to fix this issue

 

When I try to open the game I’m getting this error:

Online sign in failed. We attempted to fall back to offline sign in but that also failed. The username or password may be wrong or the account may not exist on this machine. Offline play is only available for accounts that have previously signed in on this machine (with “Remember me” ticked) while connected to the internet and while Social Club Service is available

A Rockstar Games Social Club account is required to play Grand Theft Auto V

 

 

How to fix Online sign in failed on Grand Theft Auto V Online?

First, go and download Hotspot Shield from https://www.hotspotshield.com/

Hotspot Shield is a free VPN, you gonna need this to process to fix this

After you finish downloading the Hotspot Shield VPN install it (select the free version) and open this application

Press “Connect to VPN”

 

 

When the VPN is on go and start GTA Online Version via Steam

 

 

If this is working for you the Rockstar Launcher will start to update

 

 

 

And after you will have the option to Sign Up
