Weapons Part 1

S Tier

Obsidian Pendant

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 22EC450

It is best not to get involved.

This is the most powerful weapon in the game. It summons a forward creeping black hole with high pull strength. This entraps enemies and gives you amazing crowd control (CC). You can also use DOT to focus on your smaller AOE attacks. This can be used effectively by the Duplicator or the Mallet of Prosperity. Honey, Pomodoro, and Hallucinatory Mushroom are also helpful. Estelle or Anis can also be used due to their large weapon AOE. Currently, this is the best CC option.

Velmanway (Knight’s Sword Update)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 42E9F5A

Multiple longswords can be used to slice through enemies.

This weapon has the highest DPS of all weapons. Although it has a very short range, the damage is high making it a good weapon for bossing. You can also use it as a mobbing weapon, with enemy pulling enhancements. For a devastating combination of high attack and high AOE, you can use Primal Strength and Pomodoro along with Hallucinatory Mushroom and Mallet of Prosperity to create a powerful combo.

Smokescreen

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 6BD0EF1

Establish a zone of lingering that slows down.

This weapon creates a zone which slows enemies down by approximately 50%. It is very useful for buying time to kill, especially early bosses in stage 3. This is one the best CC options in game. This can be paired with the Mallet of Prosperity, the Pomodoro and Honey.

A Tier

Storm Bow (Elven Bow Upgrade).

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 0A89DA2

Rains arrows.

This weapon has the highest DPS of all weapons. Although it targets enemies randomly the AOE damage is enough to clear most enemies from the screen. It is one the most powerful damage-based mobbing weapons. The Pomodoro, Primal Strength, and Primal Strength are great accessories for this weapon.

Flail

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 682640F

Big knockback damage. Medium range.

This weapon does a lot of damage over a large area. It’s useful for catching fast enemies, even if they don’t aim at the player. Its reload time is longer than other weapons. This weapon is a powerful mobbing weapon that deals incredible damage. This weapon can be upgraded with the Duplicator accessory and the Mallet of Prosperity accessory to increase its tier.

Prismatic Lightning (Lightning Rune Upgrade)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 476BF8E

Continuous lightning shocks.

This weapon is very effective at mobbing due to its high damage, consistency, and high homing ability. This can be used in conjunction with Honey and the Duplicator. It leaves behind a lightning trail that is cosmetic and illusionary. This is caused by balls passing through it on their way to target.

Crystal Phoenix’s Soul

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 44E69BE

Ice storms are created in random locations.

Despite random summonings, Soul has a high DOT with both the Mallet of Prosperity (and the Duplicator). It can cover the entire screen and can eliminate Rushers at higher upgrades.

B Tier

Elven Ring

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 0E2ACEB

Fires random homing orbs.

This ring summons orbs to focus bosses, despite its description. The ring can produce a steady stream of orbs when paired with the Duplicator and Pomodoro. It is also capable of tearing down bosses on its own. Honey and Primal Strength are also available for additional use.

Lich’s Torment (Sanguinous Ring upgrade)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 6F7D1C7

Moving can leave behind a trailing blood pool of vengeful revenge.

This ring summons large pools of blood to follow the player. It deals moderate damage over a large area. Use it with the Pomodoro and Honey. Additional enhancements: See the Demonic Bracelet or Primal Strength.

Lightning Rune (Louise’s Starter Weapon)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - D800A6F

Chain lightning attacks at random enemies.

This weapon (or staff?) This summons lightning orbs with medium damage, good homing ability and fast attack speeds at a large distance. This weapon targets bosses randomly so you must have another source for damage. Pair Honey and Duplicator with Pomodoro. Lightning balls don’t leave behind dangerous lightning trails.

Clear Sky (Trample Upgrade)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - D7C38EC

Leaves a trail of destruction.

This weapon leaves a trail containing blue fire, as if your character had consumed four meals of Taco B*ll or blue G*torade that day. Each trail particle has a medium DOT, and new particles are constantly being spawned behind your characters at all times. It has high DPS if all particles are stacked on top. I have witnessed entire runs using the Clear Sky as the main weapon. High HP enemies like the Holy Knight or Samurai melt within a fraction of a second of being pulled by your character into a pile full of flaming taco remnants. Running up and down the length of the map (less relevant to the Capital) is another option. It is a niche playstyle that is not worth the effort. There are better, more focused damage options for bossing and mobbing. As needed, build with the Demonic Bracelet, Honey, and Movement Speed and Mallet of Prosperity.

Sunfire Cape

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 5D66717

Incinerates nearby enemies.

This cape gives your character a fiery aura. It also deals good DPS at close range. It cannot catch up with enemies with high health, and you could take damage if they tank through the majority your aura. You can pair it with the Demonic Bracelet and Primal Strength, and the Mallet of Prosperity to create another source of damage.

Elven Bow (Henrietta’s Starter Weapon)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - FBEECE7

Shoots skywards arrows at random enemies.

This bow can shoot small AOE arrows that do high damage and have a medium reload at long ranges. A decent mobbing weapon. It targets randomly so you should have another source for damage in order to deal with bosses. Pair it with the Pomodoro and Duplicator, or Primal Strength.

Dance of the Reaper (Assassin’s Dagger Upgrade).

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 3D5E90B

Continuous dagger throws.

Your character is proficient at dagger throwing and can now do it continuously as a turret. Your character can only face eight directions so it is difficult to use this weapon if you are unable to strafe in front bosses or if there are many enemies around you. It can deal a high single-target DPS. Use it with the Primal strength and Demonic Bracelet.

Trample (Jing’s Starter Weapon).

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 1 - 66E85A6

After dashing, you can damage the zone.

This trailblazer has high DOT and functions like a molotov cocktail that is dropped from your character’s feet. It can also be used as a mobbing weapon. Its uptime is limited by dash cooldowns and it cannot focus on stronger bosses as other weapons can. Bosses move quickly through the effects Trample so you can still fight the first boss. Use Honey for mobbing or Flagbearer’s glory to deal damage.

Part 2 Weapons

C Tier

Sanguinous Ring (Anis’ Starter Weapon).

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - DE4AE9D

It can lead to a dangerous area for moving.

This ring summons a vortex that has low to medium DOT. It is focused on mobbing. The vortex is supposed feel slow, which encourages you to run within enemy lines for maximum damage. Sometimes you will even get a nick on your arm if you don’t die. This can be used with the Pomodoro and Mallet of Prosperity. Notice: The blood rings are short for Anis’ weapons, the Sanguinous Ring and Lich’s Torment.

Inquisitor (Bayonet Upgrade)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - 8EB3C58

A weapon that can automatically return to you when you are done.

This weapon boomerangs outwards to do high damage at medium frequency, arguably small to moderate AOE, and homes in to return your character. Damage is not calculated based on DOT, but on collision. All enemies who remain within a spinning blade are immune to additional damage, unless they exit the blade and return. This is a good dual weapon. Throwing a sword into a crowd does decent damage, but enemies can flank you from the sides. However, chasing down bosses from behind is more effective as the blade is caught more often if your character follows the boss. This causes more damage. Use with Primal Strength, Mallet of Prosperity.

Knight’s Sword (Kururu’s Starter Weapon)

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - F6B61F0

Strikes in a semicircle at the front

The first weapon in the game is medium-range and deals moderate damage. Although it can handle early waves with the Duplicator or Pomodoro, it quickly falls apart if upgraded in later waves. You can also use Primal Strength to upgrade this weapon to Velmanway.

Fireball Staff

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - C9201DE

Fires at random enemies

This weapon summons fireballs that do good single-target damage. This weapon is a great bossing weapon in the early game, but it falls apart in the late game due to AOE.

Cloaking Leaves

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - 600F13D

Orbits around the characters

This weapon orbits around your character and deals good knockback as well as decent damage to enemies when it collides with a leaf. While it can protect your character, we are playing a game in which offence is the best defense. Duplicator can be used to increase the number leaves.

Explosives

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - 607671D

Caution. Use caution.

This weapon is great for anyone with one braincell for AOE. However, it has low damage and a frustrating targeting system. It targets the nearest enemy rather than the middle of your face. Explosions that do good AOE and damage are often thrown to one side and then wasted, allowing enemies to come in on the opposite side. The CQC range is a good choice. This can be paired with the Duplicator, Mallet of Prosperity and Primal strength.

Gunpowder

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - EF0B24E

When they are dead, enemies explode.

This trait deals small damage to enemies around you on enemy death. This is not recommended for early game, as players aren’t likely to get Pheromones. However, it does deal a lot of damage and can be used to do decent damage when enemies are large. Use with Primal Strength and Mallet of Prosperity.

Blade Shield

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - 6663568

When attacked, it causes damage.

This niche weapon can do serious damage if its owner can survive the double-sided gun. This weapon functions in the same way as the Thorns Enchantment from M*necr*ft. It deals damage to the attacker if they take damage. This can be a very effective damage dealer if you have the right defense and healing resources. However, it feels like a last resort and is best used as a way to deal damage.

Scale

Glory & Miserable Survivors DX - Weapons Tier List Guide - Weapons Part 2 - 1BE87A4

The Keep is more vulnerable to more intense attacks.

This weapon summons a column lightning that strikes vertically along the screen. The damage increases depending on the distance summoned by the Keep. This weapon is intended to catch Rushers close to the Keep, but if you play the game properly, this weapon will no longer be needed. This weapon will be outclassed by the Repair Shop, CC Scarecrow, AOE, or some Constructs in terms of damage and Rusher hunting.

D Tier

Backstrike

Kunai

Shuriken

Death Punch

Lower HP means greater attacks

evil punch

Katana

Assassin Dagger

Bayonet

Gunpowder

Leatherbound book

Note: After my exams, I think I can make the descriptions. These weapons aren’t worth building or mentioning because of their limited damage.
