Deployables Part 1
Orb of Restoration
Creates a Healing Zone.
This is the best healing source in the game. This construct can be used to cheese heal, and when paired up with the scarecrow in Capital, it is possible to ignore Rushers. This cheese can be used to trigger heal and run in and out the orb’s range. However, this cheese may be removed in an update. It is still the best source for healing in the game, even without cheese.
Enemies retreat after reading it.
This construct is a great defensive tool, especially when used with the Brothel. It forces enemies to retreat (autokills), while sacrificing their xp or gold drops. This Construct doesn’t have the “on kill” effect. This can make some runs win. Propaganda does not affect bosses.
Increases the number bosses.
+1 boss spawn, max level 1. If you are able to handle it, boss drops will be doubled. This should not be used on stage 3 – Capital, as it can be too overwhelming.
All enemies are frozen for a set time
Infrequent but very useful CC. This is best at later enhancements where the time stop actually becomes quite common. It can occur at least once during boss fights with the appropriate upgrades. This is particularly useful for bosses and rushers and provides valuable Time to Kill. However, this can be overshadowed sometimes by frequent enemy spawns that replenish the ranks of time-frozen troops.
Every 10s, repair the Keep.
+0.1 Keep HP / sec / level. It is best to use it in the early to mid-game when you aren’t stressed about straggling Rushers.
Passive EXP Generation.
This is a great source of experience. It is best to have this at run’s beginning to reap the benefits of frequent item choices.
Slow enemies within range
This acts as a permanent, medium-level AOE. Enemies within range have their movement speed decreased, increasing Time to Kill. Bonus points for capturing a boss inside.
Passive Gold Generation
Gold can be passively generated. Although passive income, the imcome from quickly leveling up this construct can be quite substantial (in the order six figures). This is only useful for those who are poor in the early to mid-game.
Gold bonus +10% at game’s end
+10% gold per level to the total at the end. At max level, almost double your total gold. You can only use this in the early to mid-game if you are poor.
Creates Poisonous Swamp
Wow! This description is amazing. It does low-medium damage and has some slowing capabilities. This tower is basically an AOE Graveyard. Enemies can pass through it before too much damage is done.
Upon contact, stun and damage enemies. Increases in size, power and strength
This construct stuns enemies in one place and gives Time to Kill. This damage is sufficient to take out a stage edge in the early waves of Rushers.
Divine Wind’s Protection
Creates a zone for Haste.
This creates a speed boost area around itself. It can be used in conjunction with the Hallucinatory Mushroom to reduce the negative effects of the shrooms. It’s useful for catching up with bosses and Rushers. It is useful for cheese healing orb.
Places that attract enemies.
Weak-a*s pull. Compare with an obby pendant, but can help in Rotating Saw setups or Brothel setups. This is a good support structure, but not meant to be your main CC.
Sweeping laser, damaging enemies.
Keep close to Keep to maximize its sweeping abilities. The distance that the tower is from the enemies increases, the farther it can sweep. High damage output with a large attack range.
Deployables Part 2
I don’t even know the description of it because I ignore it every day # TODO
Low to medium single target damage, moderate fire rate, low KB on hit. This tower can only protect one edge against Rushers at a time. This tower is useless if it is used as a single-targeting mechanism for a PvE game.
You can slice enemies in the area.
Extremely high damage for a small AOE, very difficult to use well. It requires you to stand directly behind the structure, place a magnet next to it (usually never works because the magnet’s pull weakens), or send obby vortexes directly into it.
Sword with seven branched design
Laser, moderate damage in small AOE. It can’t even catch rushers. Good against crowds (pheromones).
Tower of Last Defense type. Slowly replenishes the firewall to catch any stray animals. Slow reload, which can be overwhelmed unlike Horse Fence but has greater damage and more utility than Horse Fence because it can deal with higher classes Rushers until the inevitable too strong enemy
Explodes when the enemy is reached.
It has never even tried to homing. It is a fraud. It does not cause the same damage as one shot of the “explosive weapon”. You can use your item elsewhere.
Large areas are less likely to sustain significant damage.
Abysmal damage to a large area. Even CC does more damage (I joke), but fr obby pendant does much more than this lmfao. You should consider moving your item to another place.
Cedar Forest (Spring)
These trees are a hiding place for your enemies.
It’s worse than Propaganda to retreat from, but it leaves enemies’ xp intact. Enemies are dispelled by the forest and given KB, but enemies in a crowd crush (which often happens) can reach you. To avoid enemies, you will usually need to hide on the opposite side of the forest.
Seven Stars Altar
Periodic fullscreen enemies knockbacks by gale
Weak KB. It feels like nothing. It might gain 0.5sec Time To Kill to use Cavalry on edge, but it doesn’t feel like it is doing anything. Spend your item choice on another.
Strengthens enemies nearby, increases gold drop
If you don’t have the courage to face the challenge, this deployable could be your death. The Brothel makes it much harder to kill nearby enemies, and increases their health, damage, speed, and gold drop. I’ve often felt that my current character’s abilities are sufficient, and have suffered when an enemy with a greater attack power comes along. It’s worse when Rushers and Bosses become stronger than you intended. I don’t know if boss drops increase in quality if a boss has been strengthened by the Brothel. When you are looking for victory conditions, avoid the Brothel. The gold drop increase is significant. It is a good upgrade for mid-game to earn money for more expensive attribute upgrades. This should not be used in the early game. The early weapons and attributes are not suitable for the stronger enemies nor the late game. Ideally, you should have reached stage 3 capital or the endless modes and should have maxed your attribute upgrades. You can use this with CC for extremely high damage or Propaganda to provide a failsafe or backup. Push or deploy Propaganda near your Brothel.
