Basic mechanics

Placement.

Most players at the beginning of the game don’t have anything significant other than a backpack and a vest, again use this advantage to your advantage. A single shot from a gun can kill a player, taking your aim time into consideration to help with this and it is possible to help by using both hands to align shots or making use of your surroundings to stabilize your weapons, that will help if you’re using a pistol, rifle or shotgun.

Looting.

This is the best method to ensure that you are checking the area, listening to look for Ai voice lines and footsteps If you step towards the body of another player, make sure you examine the surroundings for signs of people or Ai. Scouting.

It’s fun to play with others however, keep in mind that this game will always have the microphone on and you can alter that in the settings prior to raid, but if you are running solo you can use this as a huge advantage, for instance, if you’re getting rushed or rotated on you can pretend to shout at a friend to tell them the location of the enemy. I’ve lost to this tactic in which I used it to my advantage by staying in my ambush spot I’ve tried this method on numerous occasions and it has always worked.

Running Raid.

It is absolutely possible to play any type of game you like, but if you don’t know where to put yourself or ambush your opponent, why bother? Run the map with a disposable rifle or do an individual pve run to gain a sense of the places before deciding to go for it.

Be calm and steady.

If you’re under fire from someone you don’t know, be sure you stay behind cover. You’ll keep your possessions however you’ll lose pride. However, you can use placements to your advantage to snare them should you decide to go for them.

Loot spots

This section will be a bit empty because I’ve rarely used lockers and boxes but I’ll try to add some items.

Lockers.

Lockers, I’ve seen that you’ll get either a rifle or pistol, with gun accessories or pistol ammo with a possibility of obtaining weapons such as grenades.

Wood crates for small spaces

I’ve only discovered small pieces and bobs within these they’ll either be little gunpowder pieces or smaller calibre ammunition, as well as mags for them.

Big wood crates

These are the best for those who run in a zero-to-hero play style, you’ll get backpacks, helmets and vests these are your best friend however it is difficult to find more rare items in these because they are regarded as less valuable.

Ammo boxes

Small polymer boxes

I’ve only opened one and it contained mags as well as an attachment for rails.

Big polymer boxes
