1. Walking slowly
– Simply by pressing/holding direction buttons (W, A, S, D) will make a counselor walk but rather slow.
Pros:
+ Lower the noise that counselors make
+ Minimum stamina consumption
Cons:
+ Slow as heck…
2. Jogging
– First check if the “Run Toggle” is on and what button it is in like the screen-cap below:
– In-game, press that button once (in this case: X) + Direction keys to jog. Press again to cancel and go back to slow-walking mode.
– Jogging effect still lasts after Sprinting or Crouching, as long as you press X once previously.
Pros:
+ Move a little bit faster
+ Less stamina consumption
Cons:
+ The noise counselors make slightly increases
3. Sprinting
– Hold or press “Shift” + Direction keys (or your own keybinding) to run forward fast.
– Jogging effect still lasts after Sprinting or Crouching, as long as you press X once previously.
Pros:
+ Fastest way to move
Cons:
+ Produce loudest noise to counselors with Low Stealth
+ Large amount of stamina consumed
General Note:
a) Counselors’ speed stats affect the running speed. (E.g: Even with Full-speed sprinting Eric still appears to run slower than others whose speed rates higher than his, performing the same action; eventually Vanessa is the fastest counselor.)
b) Counselors with high Stealth make little noise (Level 8-9 Stealth: Kim, Eric, Sheldon) or no noise at all (level 10 Stealth: AJ, Tiffany) when jogging or sprinting.
c) The way you choose to move does not affect Crouch’s speed at all.
