Recreate the overall appearance of a Trinitron connected to a composite video connection.
First run
Run the game after installing it. Open the screen settings, change the video settings to 1080p, and turn off filtering. Fullscreen mode is a bad idea. It blurs everything, even on native 1080p monitors. You can run the game in a borderless mode by using the -popupwindow launch parameter. The taskbar will be hidden. Alternately, you can also throw Borderless Gaming at the game if it is in your Steam Library.

Shader and shader installation
Run the Reshade installer and point it at your game's directory. When I asked for API selection, it detected OpenGL. I would only install the shaders that are checked by default. After installing Reshade, launch the game and follow the tutorial. Note which keys are used to open the overlay (. You'll need them to configure). I recommend also binding a key to disable any effects. Close the game after you've done that.
After performing that step you'll want to go to your game's directory and find your "reshade-shaders/shaders" folder. Once you have located it, copy the shaders that were downloaded to it. Each shader file should be named.fx. Once the file is complete, it's time for you to configure the shaders.
Enabling Shaders
Start your game and hit "Overlay Key" Next, locate and enable these shaders. Then list them in this order:
GTUV50
CRT_Royale
Deconverge
AMD FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening
Configuring the shaders
[GTU] (Video signal, RCA connection)
To match my screenshots, find the settings for GTU. You will need to use the actual resolution of your monitor for screen width and height.
[CRT Royale] Emulated physical screen (
CRT Royale settings can be found and changed to match my screen shots. If flickering is a problem, I recommend disabling interlacing.
[Deconverge] (line-up video signal with aperture grille for removing) jail bars
Deconverge settings will be found. Set the screen dimensions to 640×320. You can adjust the target dimensions setting to remove jail bars. On a 1080p monitor, 1310×990 seems like it will remove the jail bar effect. However, you might need to experiment with other resolutions. To make the apparent jail bar effects clearer while tweaking, you can change CRT Royale’s scanline thickness from 0 to 1.
[CAS]
There is nothing to do but make sure my screen shots match the values.
Final Steps
Technically, it is not necessary but highly recommended. Once everything is running, I recommend that you go to the Reshade settings tab. There, tick the "Load only enable effects" box and the "Performance mode” box on the home tab.
Screenshots
Here are a few screen shots that I took with all this applied. These will be best viewed in their original size.
