DLCs that you want to have. Since the publisher have no plans to reduce prices for our westers colleagues, I think this GUIDE might be usefull for peeps who are not sure if they want to pay full-price for Ultimate edition and only interested in what’s worth. If so you have come to the right place.

What DLCs are worth your money

Mitsubishi Car Pack

It’s free (real estate).
95. consists of useless cars. You don’t really need them or will ever use competitively. It’s only value is “for the collection”.

Welcome Pack

You probably want to buy it.

It has 1993 Toyota #1 T100 Baja Truck which is a knows cross-country/rally monster, a decent for starters 2017 Ford GT in S2 class, pretty much decent 1976 Jeep CJ5 Renegade. 1996 Ferrari F50 GT is OK but nothing special.

Hot Wheels™ Legends Car Pack

It’s a 50/50. Half of the cars are useless or viable only in drift. Other half is not as good as probably everyone were anticipating. Overall the pack is good, cars are fun, must have for a collection.

Fortune Island (expansion)

The best expansion. You will definetely have fun with it. Fortune Island is an interesting place with pretty good challenges and “quests”. It has some interesting races like route around the mountain or sprint on the entire island. It also has the best drifting route in the entire game, people who do know what Initial D is want to ride there. As a bonus a decent 2017 Ram Rebel TRX Concept cross-country car, also as 2019 Porsche Macan Turbo

LEGO® Speed Champions (expansion)

The worst expansion. You lose nothing if you don’t own it. Cars are garbage, land is boring. You have nothing to do there apart from completing “lego quest”.

VIP

Questionable. If you plan to play for a long time – you don’t actually need it. At some point of your progress you will have tonns of money. Also your main income in the game is Wheelspin and car duplicates. VIP cars are whatever and everything else is cosmetics.

Best of Bond Car Pack

Is useless. Only value is for the collection.

Any Terrain Car Pack

You don’t need it. Cars aren’t mentionable for the exception of 1991 GYMKHANA 10 Ford Escort Cosworth Group A probably. There are way better off-road cars.

Barrett-Jackson Car Pack

Buy it if you want to compete online. 1932 Ford Roadster Hula Girl, 1959 Atomic Punk Bubble Top are alone worthy of this pack but it has even more brilliant cars.

High Performance Car Pack

Most of the cars are meh for the exception of 2018 Ford GT DD. It’s one of the best rally cars.

Japanese Heroes Car Pack

2005 Honda NSX-R GT is a pretty good road race car, also is a legend. 2003 Honda S2000 ain’t bad car for drifting but def not the best. 1974 Honda Civic RS is a fun car in some instances but nothing more.

Open Top Car Pack

Is whatever, only for the collection. Or maybe you want to drift in a 1929 Mercedes-Benz

Icons Car Pack

Collection only.

British Sports Car Car Pack

Useless.

Treasure Map

Idk, do you really struggle to play the game?

Formula Drift car Pack

A free bonus included in the game. At first impression cars in there are sounds and looks OP but in reallity only 2006 #43 Dodge Viper SRT10 is the big mention there and probably it alone will be enough for you to complete every drift events and compete at S1-S2 Drift Adventure. For the best Formula cars you have to grind drift adventure, buy them at the auction or spend Backstage cards. Want to mention that it is not necessary Formula cars are the best for the Drift Adventure.
