Ghost Guide to Paradise Islands *SPOILERS*

This is a serious spoiler guide. If you haven’t beaten the boss yet or even reached the Islands I suggest you hold out until later.[Note:

You’ve now freed Captain Drunk Bill’s spirit but you have to convince him to join your team. Well, if you’ve been paying attention, you might have seen some treasure chests that are hidden in plain sight all over the islands. These chests were likely used by pirates since these islands were their primary base. (Well, that was before the cursed events that lead to your re-entry into this world.

Simply put, you’re gonna have to (quite literally) go on a treasure hunt, and then break open all the ‘caches’ hidden throughout the islands. Don’t fret about the goblets, statuettes, etc… the Captain’s not interested in that.

Instead you should be searching for a Key item, also referred to as an Encrypted Map.

It may take a while before it drops. Therefore, you should keep looking for treasure chests until you find the perfect cache. (Don’t worry, the Map will be placed in your Pouch. It won’t occupy any Inventory slots.

Once you have the Map Take it to the Captain, and he’ll figure out the location where the True Treasure is buried. It’s as simple as following the cross on your mini-map and using any shovel to discover the treasure.

The Pendant with the portrait is the True Treasure that the Captain’s been searching for.

Return the Pendant to him, and he will be a part of your ghostly “crew”
