There are three types of weapons in Fallout Shelter
- Melee weapons
- Ranged weapons
- Heavy weapons
Attack frequency is determined by Agility (A), while damage depends on Strength and the amount of damage taken depends upon Endurance (E).
Melee weapons
The Fire Hydrant bat is the best melee weapon, with damage ranging from 19 to 31. (Average 25). It will take:

Ranged weapons
The range of ranged guns available is vast.
Virgil’s rifle
Damage: From 19 to 26 units You will need the following:
Microscope: x4
Gold watch: x3
Military circuit board: x2

You can’t get Virgil’s rifle in quests, in the wasteland or in the workshop. The second-highest damage is
Mean Green Monster
You can find it everywhere. The damage ranges between 17 and 23. You will need the following:
Camera: x3
Chemistry flask: x3
Gold watch: x2
Caps: 20.450
Heavy weapons
Three barrels will be highlighted in this category of weapons.
The best is the
Dragon’s Maw
This can cause 22 to 29 injuries, with an average of 25.5. You will need:
Military Circuitry: x3
Chemistry flask: x3
Globe: x3
Caps: 22.050
In the second place, I’ll put
MIRV
The average damage to this species is 24.5
