Euro Truck Simulator 2 – Finding the Easter Egg in Valencia (Iberia DLC)

Introduction and Scene-Setting

 
 
My guide will show you an amusing Easter egg that SCS inserted into their Iberia DLC map. 
Fortunately, it’s not hard to get to. 
 
You’ll be going to Valencia. This Spanish port city only has one way in and out. Head for “el puerto”! 
 
 

Head for the ferry dock, but keep right.

 
Once you’re in Valencia, head for the ferry. 
 
 
You’ll come to the the entrance gate to the port proper. Go through the gate, and keep right! 
 
Shortly after you go through, note the sign reading “termina publica de contenadores”, and take that lane. 
Take the curve on the right and slow down. You’re almost there! 
 
 

Find La Gate!

 
Stop after you take the curve, and look around. Do you hear something? Such as a gate opening? 
You’ve found it! 
 
 
 
The sign reads, “El Shortcut through la Gate”! From here, you’ll have to turn right and go through the gate. 
 
Once through the gate, you’re in a small freight yard. Go straight ahead and then left. On your left side, there’s another gate. Take the gate, and you’ll be on a frontage road heading away from the port. (This gate, and La Gate, are one way, and you can’t come back in that direction.) On the frontage road, you can turn back around to the port road, or take the rotary to leave the area. 
 
Into the freight yard… 
 
The exit gate. 
 
Frontage road. You can turn back to the port, or exit from here, through several turnoffs. 
 
That’s it! It’s not an “official” viewpoint, such as the one on the ferry dock just nearby. but it is amusing! Have a good trip!
