Accessing the console
 
 
To use the console you need to set g_console=1 and g_developer=1 in config.cfg. The file is located in My Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\config.cfg. Make a backup first. Once enabled start up the game and press the Tilde key ~ located under the escape key.
 
 
Once the console is open you type the command followed by the value if one is necessary.
 
Command Description
 
cheat

dispatch
 
echo Prints text to the console.
 
edit Enters the map editor.
 
edit_build
 
edit_save
 
exec Executes commands in files.
 
exit Exit console / game.
 
game Reloads the game.
 
goto (x;y;z) Teleports to city name or coordinate. Fly to location just above surface then press F9 to land.
 
pause Pauses the game.
