A guide to finding all the stacks of money and money bags throughout the game.
Introduction
Hello Respondrâ„¢! When responding to our clients, some of them have money that they might want to see saved from their house. This guide can help you find where they keep it and return it to them, that’s the kind of service Embrâ„¢ values!
We also have reports of some dangerous locations with money bags. If you ever find yourself in one of these places, I guess you could probably just hold onto that.
Disclaimers: Embrâ„¢ does not condone and is not aware of any accusations of theft made against independently contracted Respondrsâ„¢. The guide has spoilers.
To my knowledge, bags of money in Escape levels do not burn. Stacks of money found in normal levels do burn. I do not know the extent to which stacks of money can survive a fall, however, they can certainly take a beating. Throw them from roofs at your own risk. If you toss a stack of money from a roof and it lands in a yellow escape zone, it will not break and it will count for completion. Further, you can put the money in your truck and it will also count for completion.
This guide uses the American description for floors. I avoid using the term “ground floor” and use the word “first floor”.
I am aware there are multiple paths to get to each stack of money. There may be faster ways to do so. I wrote this in a way that worked consistently for me.

First District
Embr Career Fare
“Become a Respondr!”
There are no stacks of money or money bags in this level.
First Ave
“A perfect neighborhood for your first household”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the house and go into the first door on the left. The money is under the stack of three boxes.
- #2: Enter the house, turn right and go downstairs. Go into the far back of the basement and turn left into the room in the screenshot. The money is in the far back left behind some boxes.
- #3: Enter the house. Go up the stairs and turn right into the hallway. Go to the end of the hall, break the pallet stack and two boxes. Connect the sparks to the safe and get the money from the safe. The power to the house has to be on for this.
Oscar Heights
“High rises with great views”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Make your way to the top of the building. In the orange box house to the left, grab the money from the safe. Watch out for electricity.
- #2: Enter the house. Go upstairs and turn left into the first door. You can either enter using a breaching charge, or jump out the window onto the catwalk and follow it around to a window leading into the bathroom. The bathroom connects to the bedroom, which is where the money is.
- #3: Go to the top-most building of the stack, it should be blue. The money is located behind some boxes and next to a desk.
Crab n’ Go
“Grand Re-Opening!”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the restaurant. On the right wall, enter the wooden door with a sign that says “202” on it. Break some of the wooden planks on the floor. Turn on the switch to provide power to the safe, and grab the money out of the safe.
- #2: Enter the restaurant through the front door. Jump over the counter and go around the shelves. The money is on top of a refrigerator.
- #3: Do not enter the restaurant, instead, walk along the side to get to the back. There is a breakable wall behind some barrels underneath the stairs on the rear.
- #4: Make your way to the tallest part of the building.
Utica Ave
“Sleepy Suburban Rentals”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the house on the first floor. Turn right and look into the kitchen. The money is on top of the cabinet.
- #2: Enter the house on the first floor. Use water to connect the two wires and enter the metal door. The money is near the bed.
- #3: The money is on the roof of the tree house.
- #4: Enter the house on the first floor and walk up one flight of stairs. Turn around as if you were going to go up the stairs to the third floor. Instead, you will see the money next to the staircase.
St. John St.
“In the bustling heart of the city!”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the building and then enter the first apartment on the right. Turn left upon entering and break the pantry doors in the kitchen. The money is near the washing machine.
- #2: Make your way to the second floor. The money is hidden on a shelf in the lower cabinet of the kitchen.
- #3: Make your way to the second floor. Enter the bathroom and the money is on the floor near the tub.
- #4: Make your way to the third floor. Enter the first apartment on the right. Break the first door you see next to the “Happy Birthday” lettering. The money is on the floor under the desk.
- #5: Make your way to the third floor. Enter the first apartment on the right. Turn left to look in the kitchen. The money is on top of the refrigerator.
Hotel Construction Site
“Site of the upcoming Hotel Muse”
This is an escape level.
- #1: Upon starting the level, immediately look to the right. On the wooden wall, connect the broken wires and move to the other side of the wall. The crane will drop a pile of wood, and on top of it is the money bag.
- #2: After going down the first staircase into the burning landing, connect the frayed wires on the far wall. In the nearby hallway, enter the door on the right that opened. There will be a skeleton. Look to the left and the money bag is near the explosive barrels.
- #3: After going down the first staircase into the burning landing, make your way to the end of the hallway. Enter the door with a sign that says “202” on it. Before going down the stairs in this room, look on top of some grey barrels for the money bag.
- #4: Upon entering the basement level where the elevator is, immediately look behind the stairs. The money bag is on top of the shelf.
Canal St.
“Gorgeous Waterfront Property”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the first house through the first door. Immediately turn left and go through that door. Look on the left wall. The money stack is in the bookshelf.
- #2: Make your way to the top of the first house. Inside the green house, the money is on the floor in the kitchen.
- #3: From the above location, go through the window onto the black fire escape and look up. The money is one flight above.
- #4: Make your way to the black/grey house on top of the first house. Look to the right where the money is on the dresser.
- #5: Do not enter any building or jump over the river. Walk around the outside to see the money sitting on the ground on plain sight.
Dent Memorial Bypass
“Easy Commute”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the house through the door at the top of the red stairs. Turn to the left. Enter the door that is to the right of the blue staircase, and the door to the left in that room to enter the bathroom. The money is in the shower.
- #2: Enter the house through the door at the top of the red stairs. Immediately exit through the door directly across from you. Break the first window to the right and then the first door you see in that bedroom. Turn right and then break the closet doors that are before the kitchen.
- #3: When facing the above closet doors, turn to the left. Enter the bedroom at the far end of the hall. Turn to the left in that bedroom and break the door. Inside that room is nothing but the money.
- #4: Enter the house through the door at the top of the red stairs. Immediately exit through the door directly across from you. Look to the left and enter the black house on the right. Make your way up the first staircase into a kitchen. Turn left at the end of this room and go up another staircase. Inside this room is gas. Turn on the fan by connecting the frayed wires at two different sections. One of these sections is behind a grill and breakable wall. When the gas dissipates, enter the now-exposed door.
- #5: Enter the house through the door at the top of the red stairs. Immediately exit through the door directly across from you. Do not enter any other house. Instead, follow the path to the back of the main area. The money is located in some pieces of metal sticking out of the road.
Wayside Way
“Get in on the ground floor of this great rental!”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the house through the double doors. Look immediately behind the front desk in the first room. The money is on the floor.
- #2: Enter the house through the double doors. Go up the stairs to the right and follow the walkway. Enter the furthest door, and immediately turn left. Go all the way to the end of this hallway into the bedroom. The money is on the floor near the bed and dresser.
- #3: Enter the house through the double doors. Enter the first door on the left, and look on top of the bookcase for the money.
- #4: Enter the house through the double doors. Go up both sets of stairs to the right. Make your way around the tower of houses until you reach the fire escape. Climb the fire escape to the highest door. The money is on the bookshelf across from the door.
- #5: Enter the house through the double doors. Go up both sets of stairs to the right. Get to the top of the blue house behind the trellises. The money is on top of the water tower.
Empire Towers
“Enjoy the views from our mechanical void”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Upon entering the first floor, turn right. The money is on the floor in the kitchen area behind the island counter.
- #2: As of the February 2021 update, I am experiencing a glitch with this one. I’ll get information on it as soon as I can.

- #3: Make your way to the second floor. Walk to the exercise room in the back.
- #4: Make your way to the third floor. Walk around the food counters and enter the door into the living area. The money is under an armchair.
- #5: Make your way to the fifth floor. Walk into the kitchen area and turn right. The money is on a stepladder in the laundry area.
- #6: Make your way to the sixth floor. On the top of the stairs, turn around. The money is on the landing.
- #7: On the seventh floor, enter the last door on the right. Enter the living room area. Jump out the window on the balcony. Turn left and carefully make your way to the section of the roof on the same level. The money is in the corner.
Barrel Factory
“Manufacturers of the finest barrels”
This is an escape level.
- #1: In the entry room, go past the pyramid of barrels blocking the rightmost door. In this new room, throw the item of your choice at the glass ceiling above the forklift to get the money bag.
- #2: From the above location, break the pallet stack in front of the forklift. Climb up the ladder stairs. Turn on the power in this room and connect the frayed wires to enter the main factory floor area. Turn right and enter the first door closest to the wooden “X”. In this room, jump across the electrified water.
- #3: From the location in #1, break the pallet stack in front of the forklift. Climb up the ladder stairs. Turn on the power in this room and connect the frayed wires to enter the main factory floor area. Turn right and enter the door to the left of the electrified water room. Break one of the wooden pallet stacks and grab the money from the top.
- #4: In the entry room, to the left, jump over the conveyor belt and into the door labelled with an exit sign. Jump on top of a barrel to get over the blue servers on the righthand side of the flames in the middle. The money is on another grey barrel.
- #5: From the above location, enter the door in the blue server room that does not have the exit sign over it. This is the barrel crushing room. Look to the right, the money bag is on the floor in front of the generator.
- #6: From the blue server room, enter the door with the exit sign, or jump from the top of the barrel crusher into the next room. Either way, you will be in a room with two doors, both have gas in front of them. Clear the gas in front of either, they both go to the same place. Look to the top of the barrel crusher at the left of the room.
- #7: In the final room with the moving pallets, jump across and go all the way to the right, where “B-07” is written on the wall. Jump down, and carefully grab the money from inside the crusher.
Maple St. Warehouse
“House your wares in this excellent warehouse!”
There are no stacks of money or money bags in this level. This is a boss level.
Second District
GasLight Inc. Cleanup Contract
“GasCampaign1”
First Level
This level is an alternate of First Avenue.
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the house and go into the first door on the left. The money is under the stack of three boxes.
- #2: Enter the house, turn right and go downstairs.Go into the far back of the basement and turn left into the room in the screenshot. The money is in the far back left behind some boxes.
Second Level
This level is an alternate of Wayside Way.
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the house through the double doors. Look immediately behind the couch on the right in the first room. The money is on the floor.
- #2: Enter the house through the double doors. Go up the stairs to the right and follow the walkway. Enter the furthest door, and immediately turn left. Go all the way to the end of this hallway into the bedroom. The money is on the floor near the bed and dresser.
- #3: Enter the house through the double doors. Enter the first door on the left, and look on top of the bookcase for the money.
Third Level
This level is an alternate of YouWork Office.
There are no stacks of money or money bags in this level.
BoxBox Delivery and Cleanup
“Deliver packages quickly and cleanup old cardboard in the second EmbrGigs campaign!”
First Level
This level is an alternate of Newton Avenue.
This is a regular level.
- #1: Make your way to the second floor, and enter the last door on the left. The money is behind the bed, underneath some pillows. The bed must be destroyed to access this.
- #2: Make your way to the second floor, and enter the first door on the left. The money is on the floor between the washer and the light switch.
- #3: Use the grapple to get to the highest, rightmost window from the front of the building. The wall you grapple to should be the red brick with white lining. Look inside the window, the money is on the floor.

Second Level
This level is an alternate of St. John St.
This is a regular level.

Newton Avenue
“High security apartments with a communal flair!”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Make your way to the second floor, and enter the last door on the left. The money is behind the bed, underneath some pillows. The bed must be destroyed to access this.
- #2: Make your way to the second floor, and enter the first door on the left. The money is on the floor between the washer and the light switch.
- #3: Use the grapple to get to the highest, rightmost window from the front of the building. The wall you grapple to should be the red brick with white lining. Look inside the window, the money is on the floor.

YouWork Office
“After your stay in our best in class SleepPods, don’t forget to check out the Cereal Bar downstairs!”
This is a regular level.
- #1: On the second floor, enter the door to the right of the weight trigger. Go to the back of this room, and break down a bookshelf on the righthand side. The money is on the floor behind that.
- #2: Enter the building and turn to the left. Climb to the top of the five floor staircase. Upon exiting the door on the fifth floor, grab an object and follow the black wire on the wall to the weight trigger on the roof. Connect the frayed wires inside to open the safe, where the money is.
Embr Satellite Office
“TOP SECRET EMBR R&D OFFICE. AUTHORIZED ACCESS ONLY”
This is an escape level.
- #1: Use the elevator to get to floor 99. The money bag is located behind the Embrâ„¢ icon statue.
- #2: Use the elevator to get to floor 97. Make your way past the laser trap, the weight trap, and enter the final door to the bathroom. The money is on the floor next to the sink.
- #3: From Floor 97, take a blue key and go to floor 98. Use it on the right door to get a red key. Use the red key to open the left door. Make your way to the back of the workout room and break the closet doors. The money is on the floor.
- #4: On floor 95, right before the exit zone, the money is on the top bunk on the first set of beds on the left.
Schuldenberg Bank
“Make a deposit in the World’s Safest Bank(tm), where the CEO is required in order to even look inside the vault”
This is a regular level. Unlike other levels, gathering the money and returning it to the rescue zone is required for Rescue Mission completion. All three stacks of money are located in the same area.
- #1, 2, 3: Enter the double doors in the middle to get into the main bank lobby. Look to the left, and grab the yellow key from under the register. Watch out for the camera sweeping over it. In the FroYo shop, grab the red key from underneath this elevator. Take the elevator to floor 2, bringing both keys with you. Use the red key to open the red keypad accessible directly from the elevator to access the CEO and the green key, Take all three keys and the CEO into the elevator. Go to B1. Get the blue key from the end of the electrified hall. Use all four keys on their respective keypads. Use the CEO on the CEO facepad. All three stacks of money are located inside the vault.
Defender Headquarters
“See Defendr’s product lineup of premium security cameras”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the building and climb both stairs to the left. Turn to the right and make a second turn into the main hallway. Use an object on the weight pad. Get the blue key from the door that opens. Backtrack to the staircase and open the blue keypad near it. Turn to the left and make your way down the hall. At the end of the hall, turn right into the conveyor belt room. The money is halfway through this room on the conveyor belt.
- #2: Enter the building and climb both stairs to the left. Turn to the right and make a second turn into the main hallway. Break the last door on the right to enter the bathroom to get a red key. Go back in the main hallway and go to the far end to unlock the red door. Use a person to open the face scanner in this room. Grab the yellow key. Go back in the hallway and unlock the yellow keypad at the opposite end. Inside the secretary’s room, break the door to the right to enter the CEO’s office. Use a person to open the face scanner on the floor underneath two boxes behind the floor lamp. This opens the safe where the money is.
Hypertube Experimental Offices
“Test drive our state of the art employee transport system! If you worked here, you would be at work by now.”
This is a regular level.
- #1: Enter the right tube. Make your way to the back of this area, dodging the camera and the electricity. Turn off the electricity, and use a crate on the weight trap at the end of the wooden bridge. Make your way back to the starting area, and enter the middle tube. The money is sitting on the ground past an open door.
- #2, 3: From money location above, use the grapple to jump over the room with the money. Walk down the stairs until you see a room labelled as “Security Access”. Place an object on the weight tap. From the Security Access room, turn right and crawl across a wooden plank into a tube being constructed. Use the switch to the right to turn off the laser trap. Grab the CEO and backtrack to the top of the staircase. Look for a sign that says “Storage Access CEO Only”. Use the CEO to open the door in this room. Exit the room and turn to the right to see a newly opened door with two blue keys. Grab a blue key and backtrack to where you found the CEO. Go past where you found him, crossing a second wooden bridge and going down a flight of stairs. Make your way past the lasers to take a tube back to the main landing. From there, take the key and go into the rightmost tube. Look to the left and you will see a camera sweeping an area where a barrel sits. Move the barrel and stand where the barrel was. NOTE: The camera will not damage you, however, in most modes an NPC usually stands where the flamethrower triggers. Look up and you will see the blue keypad. You can throw the key to this pad from here and it will open the door. The two pieces of money are sitting on the floor past the keypad.
Fyre HQ
“Fyre, the Friendly Firefighters! A brand you can trust!”
There are no stacks of money or money bags in this level. This is a boss level.
Third District
This District has not been released yet.
