Welcome. This Embark – Miners Guide was written to be useful to you, and we genuinely hope it is.
Inspired by the deep simulation of Dwarf Fortress, the open world survival of Minecraft, and the social interactions of The Sims. Embark is a colony management game with a focus on complex simulation in a huge, living 3D world.
Miners
The ‘job’ menu is located on the right side. Miners can be a*signed. A couple of things should be used to a*sign miners:
- Mining skill level
- Other jobs that were given to colonists
- Specialty
Other jobs given to the colonist Mining can be a labor-intensive skill. As a result, I will not be a miner like my military colonists who have essential jobs such as cook, brewer, and doctor.
Specialty: Specialty can be represented by stars in job selection. Specialty is given when a colonist joins your organization. It is genetic and can be pa*sed on to children. This cannot be changed, according to my knowledge.
You must raise the priority by clicking the miner slot to a*sign miners. This priority can be decreased by right-clicking the same spot.
You can hover over the “miner” bubble to see how prospecting and mining levels are affected by colonists.
Equipment
The crafter can build pickaxes. You can make a pickaxe with more difficulty, but it will be less likely to succeed.
Once a pickaxe has been built, you must a*sign it to your chosen miner. Click on the desired colonist at the top right, and then click on the items in the bottom left.
