Hey beard-lover! Have you always wanted the biggest beard possible? This guide will show you how to manipulate the character customisation to achieve the beard length you’ve always dreamed of. Stop using those beard creams, don’t take those pills, forget about that special diet. There is only one way to grow a massive beard and I’m going to show you how.
What results can we expect?
Before we begin, let’s take a look at what results you can expect to achieve with this guide. Pictured below are two bearded fellows, both of whom are sporting the biggest beard (Beard 3) from the Facial Hair menu. The gentleman to the left has a rather typically sized beard. Whereas for the beauty to the right, we have achieved a magnificent beard.
How does it work?
The trick to achieving the facial fuzz of your dreams relies on a neat little trick. The beards in Elden Ring are designed to stretch over certain parts of your face. Think of it as though each little section of the beard is connected to certain parts of your face. This means that if we enlarge, move and manipulate the correct facial sliders to make parts of your face bigger or longer, the beard will naturally grow to cover it. You will look hideous without the beard, but as soon as you select Beard 3, it will cover your enormous chin completely and give you the confidence you need to face down any challenge you wish.
As you can see below, removing the epic beard from our face leaves us looking, well, rather terrifying. Not to worry though, because why would you ever want to remove your magnificent beard anyway?
Facial sliders to adjust – Mouth, Chin & Jaw
Now we’ll go over the most important Facial sliders to adjust when aiming to create a massive chin and therefore a magnificent beard.
I will list the sliders of the gentleman showcased in this guide. As you customise your character you should be able to get a feel for which sliders create the look you want the most. Many of the sliders we will adjust will be set to the minimum or maximum values to create the biggest impact. You can freely adjust minor details to make the beard a little shorter, wider and fuller and to give your character their own personality.
You could also just copy the sliders straight off this guide and call it a day. Either way, you’ll be able to impress everyone with a more than ample load of face-fuzz.

- You can get an even bigger beard by setting your head size to maximum, as this scales up everything which includes beards.
- Although technically it’s not your own beard, you can get a really long one by equipping the Eccentric’s Hood – [fextralife.com]
